What's new

On the other hand it seems pretty obvious that Key is a few inches taller simply by watching the two players play basketball. Its obvious to me anyways. The length difference appears rather obvious to me as well. As for the weight, WCJ looks much stockier/thicker to me. That would account for WCJ being heavier.

WCJ just seems to play small atm at this level too. I'm sure he'll adapt but man getting your shot blocked so often aint a good start

Ya when I see them on the court it appears to me that keyonte is slightly taller than average pg and WCJ is slightly shorter.
My eyes could be deceiving me though I guess.

I think the Jazz will keep him. Their hope would be to turn him into a Jaden McDaniels or Herb Jones in a year or two. His problem is that his offensive skills aren’t translating and he’s just not going to touch the ball when there are guys like Ace, Brice, Key and Lauri out there. The league as a whole just keeps getting better.

Defensively, he actually looked good last night.

Offensive skills aren’t the reason he’s not Jaden or Herb. He has 1/10th the motor. Those guys play a million times harder.

A lot of nuclear-bad turnovers. And bad rebounding.

But!

(1) Gotta love the debut from Ace
(2) Brice can flat-out ****ing score
(3) Hendricks being that comfortable on the perimeter is huge
(4) 9 assists and 0 turnovers from Key is amazing

WCJ doesn't look like he's pushing Collier out of his role very soon. As I've said from the time WCJ was selected, I think you need to envision that they have two different paths onto the floor. If WCJ ends up with more and more minutes, and some of that expansion is at the expense of Collier's minutes, then the whole rotation will have accommodated that; they're impacts are just so different.
This is pretty much what my key takeaways would have been.

I also wanna add that Key's (one) kryptonite has been dribbling against ball pressure, and while Houston didnt go super hard on him, he seemed less casual with his handle. I cant remember any attempts by Rockets defender to steal the rock from him which also indicates he kept it tighter. I'm really interested to see how he fairs against teams like Blazers who are pretty relentless in their ball pressure.
