Could they have gotten him by being in the playoffs?Giving Luka to LA.
No, I guess Jazz could give away walker and Lauri to the Lakers and maybe get the 1st. But what's the point then. We would then need to get more high picks to build a team around a guy who might be good. Getting a 1st is extremely unlikely in every scenario. That player actually being good is also a gamble.Could they have gotten him by being in the playoffs?
You just don't get it... We have to give a pick to LA (Sexton) (Favors)I'm rooting for us trading Kessler, Markkanen, and Flip to LA for nothing so we can get the 1st pick in the draft.
Oh are you coming for a visit? Yes definitely! Give me a PM when you’re coming over! No, I guess Jazz could give away walker and Lauri to the Lakers and maybe get the 1st. But what's the point then. I would rather see our guys become great and start winning than hoping for a gamble in the lottery to pay off. But best case is being around 30-40 win team who has young players who look amazing and winning the lottery. It's just extremely unlikely, especially for the Jazz.
I'll have to catch a game with you this year and whoever else is in Thailand.
I'm living next door in Cambodia so I'll be over that way. Especially after the border thing dies off.Oh are you coming for a visit? Yes definitely! Give me a PM when you’re coming over!
Oh wow nice! Come over soon we’ll have a blast!I'm living next door in Cambodia so I'll be over that way. Especially after the border thing dies off.
you mean like we got Flagg? The NBA has a whole draft lottery ruleset to make tanking for number one 50/50 at best. we've walked that path and fortunately came out of it with potentially a great player but not the number one. We have good talent evaluators, let's outsmart the nba by having better evaluators and better development rather then relying on their pity by pretending to be a cripple looking for a handout. i just realized that this is what i hate about tanking. being the whiny ***** who sits at the grocery store asking for handouts when he's actually perfectly capable of working if he tries. What if it’s at the expense of getting AJ?
Anyone still feel we could use a winning culture over the draft pick at this point?
