Bummer for Walker. Got to think this stuff must be real given his incentive to ball out this season. Hopefully it's not something that holds his shooting progression back.

He is ? for personal reasons. The Ainge boys need to remember that code when it comes to serious tank time.
What I will be looking for in this game is how many minutes Lauri is going to play. Currently, he averages 37.4, being the second in the NBA in MPG. That is insane in general but is absolutely bonkers given both Lauri's history of breaking down after the pro-longed heavy usage and the fact that he spent the summer playing in the EuroBasket 2025.
I have only two possible explanations why Hardy is playing Markkanen into the ground and I don't like any of them:
1. Hardy was told that every win is crucial and he needs to get as many W's as possible.
2. The team wants to pump up Lauri's stats and value for a trade.

Yeah, they can't keep playing Lauri this much. He can get his with less, when you time many of his minutes for when the bonus is on and he'll get to the line. Also can get enough shots up with few minutes less.
