The Non-Jazz NBA Thread in the Jazz Section

Last night reveals the template for the Spurs achieving *and MAINTAINING* dominance: play Wemby 20-something minutes a game. If they can simply be competitive in non-Wemby minutes then they will win a lot of games and probably several championships.
I'll buy that in the regular season, but he's going to have to play 30+ in playoffs

Jokic is ****ing unreal. Wow.
Seriously zero reaction to one of the strongest triple doubles in the history of the game? Wow it really has become just common place. Poor Jokic is so good he'll get ****ed out of another deserved MVP because his mind-blowing performances have become so normal. Unbelievable.

Jazz need to look at knicks Tyler Kolek. Dude is old school Pg ala Nash. hes refreshing to watch unlike most of the pgs out there who relies on athleticism.

I believe at some point you have to talk about Joker in the greatest of all time discussion if he keeps this up for a couple more seasons. He doesn't have the rings, but also hasn't had the same quality of help as Jordan and LeBron
I already think he is the greatest offensive player of all time.

Why do we want an undersized defensive liability?
He's a high IQ Pg on a 2-3mil salary and size sometimes doesn't matter. Just watch how he plays hes good.

2025-26 defensive rating

McCollum -126 .9 (league worst)
Keynote George - 124.5 (3rd worst)
Lauri - 123.4 (5th worst)
Brunson - 119.2 (23rd)
Clarkson - 119.4 (previous year 124.1)
Tyler kolek - 115.3

Stull crazy to me we still go through this thing with Gobert every year where some fans can't wrap their head around Gobert being a help defender instead of a 1 v 1 defender, and that help defense is, on the whole, more valuable than man to man since no one in the NBA is stopping anyone 1 on 1.
