This is necessary. @infection hinted about it. The Lakers are a mess and likely deserve their own thread where we can openly mock them. There are also other things that happen. Putting this thread in general NBA means it will get as much response as whatever @homeytennis posts about some fringe G League prospect from Australia. The best thing is when the Jazz win... the second best thing is when our enemies lose.

Lakers suck.

Yeah, the Lakers are a mess. Their stout defense from last season has left the building, and they rely heavily on Carmelo to take and make shots off their bench.

Then they've got Westbrook doing this stuff.

Its just funny that three teams get better when the guy leaves and the Lakers are like "hells yeah we will give up our 3 and D players and a pick for him... he's a star!"

If they had held on to KCP and Caruso while getting Westbrook it might not be this bad but the combo of the two was always going to be a catastrophe.

The Lakers title team had Danny Green, KCP, and Caruso as defenders in the perimeter… this group has Bazemore and Melo. They took the stars and scrubs method too far imo.
