The Jazz are now just a half game out of 6th place in the tank race. This month is going to be interesting with 6 games against teams within reach of us in the tank race. We are also still in the midst of Lauri's all star campaign, so we will have to balance that out
Jazz currently in 7th. Think we can get below the Hornets and get to at least. STill holding out hope Pelicans turn it around and we can get 5th.

Tankathon standings definitely not as bad as I was fearing.
Utah plays Dallas 3 times in the next 2 weeks. Have to drop at least 2 of those.

We do ? I thought we were good without trying to tank and have enough talent to be okay If our pick falls as 9th to OKC.
It feels like we are a 0.500 team when we play it straight. I know that's not exactly right, but just what it feels like. When Lauri and Keyonte are playing, I typically feel like we have a good chance of beating bad teams, a 50/50 chance of beating mediocre teams, and we are unlikely to beat good teams.
Ideally we only win 3 games this month, but we need to hope for 4 wins at the most. By my count we have about 9 winnable games this month, which means we need to lose more than half of those and not win any of the unlikely wins.
Not going to be easy with making sure Lauri continues to have a chance at the All Star game.

Another way to look at this is that I think we win 7 or 8 games this month if we play it straight which means we need to unethically tank our way out of 3 to 4 games.
Looking ahead and I think we win 16 to 18 more games the rest of the year if we play it straight. We need to limit that to 11 wins, so we need to unethically tank our way out of 5 to 7 wins.
The Wiz have 9 wins but have been playing much better lately. I still think Trae is a great floor raiser.

Getting off of Trae's contract would give ATL max cap space next summer. If they don't get AD, it's hard to find a more logical fit for Kessler than ATL.
