Instead of the league trying to draw interest from in-season tournaments and such, I really think the trade deadline should be treated like a secret Santa gift exchange, where you get to pick a player from a pot and then have the opportunity to steal up to twice. I bet that would generate more views and clicks than the tournament.

This trade is a good example of why there’s no need for an existential crisis meltdown when the Jazz throw in a 2nd to move Sexton for Nurk.
