This Poll is very premature, but I'm curious what people are thinking right now. We are planning on winning as many games as possible next year. Who do you think can contribute to a winning rotation?

If I remember I'll post a similar poll at the end of the season.

Some players will have to be re-signed. Assume we can get it done at whatever deal you think makes sense.

(I'm excluding Lauri, Keyonte, Kessler, JJJ, and Ace)

This is a good topic. Quick thoughts:

Brice - My stan pick. I don’t think he’s a Hardy favorite, but I really think that with a consistent role he can be a microwave scorer off the bench.

Flip - I’ve been more bullish on him as a 5 than most, and I’d feel comfortable with him as our backup big if we intend to play him with JJJ or as a hub wit Kessler. If not, don’t think he’s a useful player.

Svi - Given his value/cost, I’d rather keep him and pencil him in for minutes rather than replace him. He took the chucker out of his game and that’s been enough to make him a decent player.

Williams - Could honestly be an ideal fit with Key in the backcourt. I wouldn’t pencil him in into minutes, but I like keeping him on the roster and the trio of Brice/Svi/Williams represents a strong diversity of skill sets on cheap contracts. Hopefully Hardy can play his cards right.

Everyone else below this line I’m more open to replacing/not wanting to pencil them in for minutes.

I picked Nurk, which was a surprise to me, but I just think he would make a great backup center, and we really need a big that can pass. I could see Nurk being very good next to JJJ. I also picked Harkless because I really want him to have a shot and at the very least he could come in for 15 minutes a night and make the opposing team's lead guard work. I also picked Cody, who has just made so much progress I want to believe he'll come in next season with an improved jumper and be playable. I really don't know enough about Williams Jr or Konchar at the moment, but currently thinking they would make up the deep bench, not the every day rotation.

I think we probably want either Svi or Brice in the rotation next year. If we were trying to win today, I think Svi is the better player, but Brice has way more potential... That's a tough one for me at the moment.

Key, MLE signing, Harkless
2026 draft pick, Brice or Svi
Lauri, Cody
JJJ, Ace
Kessler, Nurk

That's looking pretty good to me. Obviously the dream is for the 2026 draft pick to be DP, but I would settle for Flemings.

I think Cody and svi will. Not sure about any others.
Maybe vince but I know nothing about him

This is a great topic but its hard to choose without knowing how the draft unfolds.

If we get DP then he starts. Maybe that also applies to Flemings. Everyone else from the draft probably have to climb the ladder from lower down, but again that depends on how they fair in TC/Pre-season.

But all I know from these guys listed is I wanna see Nurk and Vince Williams in the rotation.

I would also vote for Brice if we get DP/Flemings. We need a bench flamethrower and if the 2026 draftee isnt that guy then Brice can be him.

I hope this excercise makes people realize how DRASTICALLY different our next year rotation will be to this year. Lots more vets and current rookie contract guys who get minutes for almost granted (Collier, Flip, Cody) are all on the fringes and most of them are about to fall off.
