next head coach of the Utah Jazz _____________?

Buzz Williams
Gregg Marshall?
Alex Jensen and/or Brad Jones I guess

I don't want a retread.

I would suspect that the Utah Jazz head coaching job would be quite coveted. What is there not to like? Stability, up and coming team with cap room, pliant press, local endorsement deals, even more stability, and a team culture that doesn't accept knuckleheads and treats even lackluster coaching with respect. Also, Crown Burger.

There is no reason to settle for Alex Jensen, let's get someone in here that has a proven track record of running a defense.

I would love to see the Jazz go after Jeff Van Gundy. There are several reasons why I think that he would be the perfect fit. We could pick him up for cheap. He has been out of coaching for a while and has vocally stated that he wants to get back in to coaching. He is a very strategic thinker, while coaching he focused on finding the weakness in the opponents defense as well as matching the players he has to the attributes they bring to the table. I know that is what coaches are supposed to do but most of them are horrible at that. He has mentioned time and time again how much he likes the system in Utah.
I think that he would be able to extract the most talent off what he has on the table. He's experienced and passionate about basketball.

Frank Layden believes Ty Corbin is "perfect" for Jazz coaching job. He said rebuilds take patience and that must originate with management.

Sorry suckers.

Sorry suckers.

Frank's too much of a friend to Corbin to say otherwise.

Dennis Lindsey is the GM, not Frank.

Frank was more of a clown than a coach. He needs to sit back down in his La-Z-Boy and gracefully fade out of the public eye.
And I agree with Numberica. I think (and hope) there are many who would stop supporting the Jazz if Ty returns. I'd definitely be one. Not sure if I could change allegiance to another team; I'd likely just find other things to do with my time.

Because 2010-2014 isnt long enough to evaluate a coach, right?

Either you got it, or you dont. This guy hired Sidney Lowe as an assistant and couldn't even get 19 points per game out of Al Jefferdad, better yet, couldnt make the PLAYHAFFS (Jim Mora voice) with a team full of solid veterans, and a bench of promising core players.

Sure, if Utah is willing to wait 5 more years until Corbin, finally understands how to make it above .500, then oh, he might just be ready! But what are the chances of that. You put his brain in a parakeet, it would fly backwards.
