    We Aren't Tanking Enough

The Jazz will trade Jeffy, the schedule will get tougher and they will lose more as the season goes on.

    Report: Bynum for Jefferson?

Hope they are still working on it feverishly then.

    Report: Bynum for Jefferson?

An hour past the deadline. No news? Did they trade him, keep him, or cut him? Anybody hear anything?

Game #24 Jazz at Kings, Wednesday Dec 11 at 8pm Mtn.

Just sayin... Very few people can guard Cousins effectively. He is a beast. If he could control his emotions he would dominate everyone.

    Rank the 5 young guys

I really like all five of them for the future. The key is not which of these guys will play, but how effectively the Jazz can build a team around them. All they need is experience and a couple of additional really good players around them them.

    Everything in its right place

Experience is a great teacher. The players know the tank is on. That has to be very unmotivating. I predict improvement during the second half. They will be better based on the experience, but still bad enough.... thanks to an awful first half, to get the high pick. The plan is advancing...

    Ian Clark

He seems to make up for the low release on his shot by a really quick release, and shifty moves to create space. If he can handle the ball and run the offense as a PG, I can see him making it. His shooting off the bench could be really valuable.

    Burke and Current Expectations

Drafting is not an exact science, nor is player development.... (See Paul Millsap). The Jazz drafted a PG who has shown himself to have the qualities they need. Trying to predict whether he will be an All-Star or just a good player is kind of silly. His ceiling depends on how hard he works...

    Backup PG?

This is exactly what I would like to see. Burks will need more minutes, and the team has performed well with him at the point.

    Last Two Moves Obvious

    McNeal and Burks. Love it.

    Jazz Roster As Of Today

Still think Hayward is primarily a 2 and Burks can back up two positions with big time energy. Burke, Burks, Neto Hayward, Burks FA, Carrol/Marv Kanter, Evans Favors, Gobert, FA This is the roster I would like to see. Would not object to Millsap included depending on his other offers.

Cavs will listen to offers for the 1st pick

I always laugh at the folks who want to trade good established players for the chance that a rookie from the draft will be better. It took Hayward a few years to really come into his own as with Favors and Kanter. Except for a handful of rare exceptions, the same will be true of pretty much...
