I can't remember who mentioned it in one of the threads but I would like to give them some credit... This team is a bunch of misfits that are somehow coming together. So many players that are cast offs from the league. John Collins-Nobody wanted Sexton-nobody wanted Kris Dunn-nobody wanted...

I think the Lakers may be going for Dejounte and we can maybe do a 3 team deal that would get Austin Reeves for the Jazz. Reeves fits the Jazz timeline better and is on a better contract. I would love to see Reeves with Will Hardy coaching.

Kind of the same issue with Lauri... Dejonte is 27 and doesn't fit the timeline of the rest of the team.

No chance DA accepts Giddy in a deal. There is no need to bring that bad PR to the Jazz. OKC can keep Giddy and just have Bertans, Dieng and picks in the deal for Lauri.

I don't understand why OKC would not do whatever it takes to get Lauri. They have more picks then they can possibly utilize. When you have the right player available, package picks and get the ideal player you need to move your team to the next level. Lauri is the perfect pick for them...

I hope Danny can somehow capitalize on the Warriors disaster with the $400M payroll and the window closing. Maybe Olynyk can help fill the Draymond void if he gets a lengthy suspension.

I just don't see the defensive presence that he was at the rim last season. He seems to have had an attitude change. Like, "oh well.." He needs some Dawg in him. Rudy gave a damn, every single attempt at the rim, he took personally. Kessler needs to get rid of that "good ole boy" attitude...

I value Lauri more than Donovan, player for player. Part of Donovan's trade value was he had multiple years remaining on his contract. But, if we are going to trade Lauri due to vibes that he is not going to resign in Utah, I think it would have to be another huge haul in returning assets.

Rough shooting night for Keyonte. He just seems to be having that little hesitation that comes with lack of confidence. He doesn't have that automatic killer mentality that he had in summer league.

Looks like Lavine's exit off the court is an indication that the situation has digressed to a point of no return. If Lavine goes to Lakers and Lakers need a 1st rounder to package to give to Chicago, Maybe we can get Reeves in the package somehow??
