That's some pretty damn good spin there. But we ain't getting better than Mo Williams for essentially nothing. An All-Star player for NOTHING. This deal was time sensitive, it needed get down now. There was no revisiting this trade later. There's very little risk involved on the Jazz's...
Not sure why Mo Williams would want to make the move without knowing he's the starter. Harris would have to be on the way out the door.
On 2nd thought, 8.5 mil is nice chunk of change he'd be opting out of....so not sure what to make of this.
Not enough shooting keep defenses honest. I think that lineup would struggle some defensively also. I think Millsap can play some 3 and Burks can play some 1 sometimes, but it's not their natural positions.
I guess where you and I differ is that I don't think the Jazz are desperate to trade/replace him. If there's a solid offer out there for him that's fine. I just don't think they'll dump him for a pick (or that they should). The Jazz can always use that cap space next off-season if they decide...
Who's out there in the draft that's already better than Harris? Lillard? Maybe someday, but not now. Would probably have to trade all the way up to 5 to get him too. Feels like a step backward to me. Would rather sit back and see what they could get at the deadline if they really have no plans...
Agree with Hollinger. It's not exciting, but I don't see the Jazz doing anything major tonight. They already have plenty of young pieces in place. No huge need to add another. Wouldn't be shocked to see Millsap or Jefferson dealt sometime this offseason though.
Not sure how it would benefit the Jazz to tip off Harris as to a trade before it's done. If it falls apart, it puts egg on KOC's face and Harris' ego is bruised. That's why most GM's don't involve players in the process until it was a done deal. Deron found out he was being traded on ESPN for...
He'll be just 21 in a couple of weeks, he's in development. Inconsistency should be expected. I like the progress he made last year though, especially towards the end of the season and in the playoffs.
I think people are excited about what he can be, rather than what he has actually done. Makes him a scary pick in my book. His production doesn't match his hype (especially shooting wise with the Ray Allen comparisons).
Considering I'm the defending champ, I may as well take a shot... :D

We currently only have 5 teams so I postponed the draft to Sunday Mar 25 at 7:30 PM PDT. I would like to have 8 teams, but we need to have at least 6 in order to for the draft to happen. Otherwise, I'll probably have the delete the league this year. So if there's anybody here interested or if...
