    Following Potential 2020 draftees

If you want an Ingles replacement that can't shoot then yeah.

Dell Demps has agreed to join the Utah Jazz as an assistant coach, reuniting with Quin Snyder

He was a horrible GM. I'm excited about his potential as a coach though. I watched some of his interviews and seminars speaking to college players and I was impressed with how engaging he is. Seems like he will connect very well with players.

French PG 6'4" with a 6'8" wingspan - Theo Maledon

No thank you. He's a really poor defender. He was the worst defender on ASVEL last season. He wouldn't move the needle for us at all.

    Hell no to both.

Marc Gasol could be our best option...

I'm a proponent of the idea that the Jazz should sign/draft multiple wing sized players. Sure, if we added Gasol or Favors it would be a big upgrade at backup 5. They are more consistent and effective than Tony Bradley or Juwan Morgan. But the bigger upgrade to the roster overall would be if...

The future of drop-big defense; and, necessary adjustments

Basically this. We need more wing depth/size/length in the rotation. Doesn't necessarily need to be in the starting lineup. But it needs to be a rotation option. It's pretty much a necessity to have it as an option on the weak side and on the nail if you want to win a championship.

    Following Potential 2020 draftees

Elijah Hughes and Jaden McDaniels remain the realistic targets that I like the most. I'm sold Hughes is going to hit. He can shoot with range, create his own shot off the bounce, cut, post up smaller defenders, good finisher at the rim. I think he's going to have some on ball and off ball value...

    Most Glaring Roster Holes

    - Point of attack defense - Positional size/athleticism - Bench depth/versatility - Defensive disruptors (need to generate more steals, blocks and deflections) Those are the biggest needs imo.

Happy to hear that this source is unreliable. He's someone that I don't follow. So I had no idea.

This is my opinion as well. Our only path to a championship is with Donovan AND Rudy. Like if we trade just Rudy then we don't have a realistic way of replacing his impact and star power before Donovan hits unrestricted free agency. If we trade just Donovan then Rudy will be past his prime...

I was thinking more along the lines that we'd basically be the Blazers. But I agree.

Anybody else see this on social media?

I agree. The only way I see this happening is if Rudy pretty much forces it. And if that happens I struggle to see a way where we come out of a trade in a good place. Looking at salaries and the realistic trade possibilities it isn't all that appetizing. The best realistic deal seems to be the...

    Following Potential 2020 draftees

Taking wing sized players who do not have wing skills is just not a good move in general. That's why I'm lower on Bey, Bey and Woodard than most.

    Following Potential 2020 draftees

Why are people here going crazy about Tyler Bey? I love his effort level. But it is SO hard to put a wing-sized big who has no offensive skill on the floor. He can't shoot, pass, handle, create with the ball in his hands. How is he gonna stay on the floor? Look at how MKG fits in the current...

Jazz Salary Breakdown for 20-21 Season

They are. Jazz fans have always taken their skepticism to the extreme on the topic of the Jazz willingness to spend. Sure, they haven't ever paid the tax. But when in the past was it logical to do so?

    Derrick Jones Jr.

Derrick Jones Jr is still a project. And the Jazz are trying to contend now. It's not a possibility that makes sense to me. Quin probably wouldn't even put him on the floor because he prefers forwards who can shoot. And Jones Jr can't. The other issue is that a rebuilding team with cap can offer...
