Another possible UDFA target for the Jazz... Nathan Knight out of William and Mary. 6'10, 253 pound Senior. Averaged 20.7 PPG and 10.5 RPG this year on 52.4% from the field, 30.5% from 3, 77.3% from the line.

I think I would have Hayes and Pokusevski on top of that list tbh. Idk maybe Avdija 2 ahead of Poku. Depending on the day and how frisky I'm feeling about Poku

I haven't heard that he's made a decision. I may have missed it though.

Chris Smith is a guy who keeps moving up my board the more that I watch. He's a big wing who has shown improvement every year at UCLA. He still needs some development time to his all around game but the scoring potential is nice. He dropped 30 on Colorado and was defended by Tyler Bey most of...

Deni Avdija is another one I should probably add to my list. His combination of passing, rebounding, size, work ethic should help him stick. Great team defender too. I don't buy the shot but he does other things well enough.

Our lists are completely different lol. I almost had Tre on mine. Probably should add him. His on ball defense is great. It's hard to imagine him not sticking as a backup PG unless he just can't knock down a shot. I'm almost there with Bane too. My only pause is that I don't buy his shot *as...

Who are the guys that you believe in to actually be rotation guys in the NBA? I'm still working on my list but these guys are on it for sure... Anthony Edwards Onyeka Okongwu James Wiseman Devin Vassell Isaac Okoro Obi Toppin Jalen Smith Paul Reed Precious Achiuwa Grant Riller Elijah...

I just don't think that a backup PG moves the needle enough for us to use our pick on that over a versatile defensive big or wing. That said on pure prospect value I would be fine with Dotson or Terry. Terry is an upside play. He's a really good shooter that knows how to find space and get...

On average only around 20 players in each draft actually become NBA rotation players. Only around 5 of those 20 become All Stars. So figuring out which 20 players will translate in a given year is the key to success. I'm willing to bet Achiuwa is one of those 20. Why? He's one of the best...

Bolmaro and McDaniels are total projects. Bolmaro literally has no role on an NBA team right now. He has no NBA level skill. You are arguing against Precious because you say Precious can't shoot and advocating for Bolmaro who shoots on a similar level as a GUARD/WING. Bolmaro is a below average...

    Following Potential 2020 draftees

Both Niang and Bradley had awful stretches that really hurt us. The fact that Brantley and Morgan didn't get any run at all when our backup bigs struggled pretty much all season says a LOT about how the team feels about them. Yeah they are rookies without defined roles yet. But they didn't even...

    Following Potential 2020 draftees

The Jazz refuse to play Brantley or Morgan over Niang or Bradley. It's obvious they don't believe in those guys to be in the rotation. Portis and Young both make too much for us to trade for without giving up a significant rotation piece and creating a different problem in our rotations...

    Following Potential 2020 draftees

True. But if that's the approach we're going with then we aren't really trying to contend next year. Because we don't really have another way to fill these holes. Unless we're going to rely on a UFA or a lower end FA to fill the gaps. That didn't really work last year.

    Following Potential 2020 draftees

I fully expect the Jazz to draft a big wing or versatile big with their pick. This season was a rollercoaster. But I think that their were enough positive signs (especially after the trade for Clarkson) that the Jazz are likely to keep this core group (Mitchell, Gobert, Conley, Bogdanovic...

Will Rudy get the D-Will Treatment?

I'm not in the mood for another rebuild. I'm just not. I'm so tired of building a team that gets close and then starting over. That's my only thought.

    Following Potential 2020 draftees

I love Green. He needs to improve in off ball defense and defending screens but just 1 v 1 man up he's a really good defender. Offensively he didn't show much other than on the break and in spot up shooting. But he is young and he was on a team with Nico Mannion so he may not have been able to...

He is more shifty in the hips than Lonzo imo. More agile.
