You're missing the point, which is the addition of Conley won't change Utah's defensive dominance, perhaps even improve it.
Besides he's a better defensive player than you realize and a tanking team's adv-stats indicate. He makes all-NBA defense teams. He's a grit and grind legend.
1. Most other fans seem to think this is a fair deal. Perhaps some of you guys suffer from the endowment effect?
2. Conley is Quin's favorite PG in the league. His contract is synced with Gobert and Mitchell's contracts.
3. All Utah Jazz starters are top-50 players. Conley is a defensive beast...
PHI has an interesting decision to make. Embiid is on a max deal and they are preparing to offer Jimmy Butler max too. And they paid a lot to trade for Tobi. Because of the sunk cost they will feel like keeping him. But how are they gonna resign him considering Ben Simmon's a RFA next season...
Shane Larkin killed it. As an European I've never seen such a dominant performance in Euroleague final-fours. Perhaps DL should have a look at him. He certainly looks better than Utah's third stringers and AFAIK he was pretty good for BOS last season. Not sure how he ended up in Euroleague.
It'd be stupid to turn down an offer of a tier1 player but this won't ever happen. Gobert is a top15 in the league impact-wise but he's somewhat undervalued. Leonard trade is an exception. They don't exhange tier1 players with tier3 normally. Pop didn't want a rebuild when they should have...
There is no way Utah trades Gobert away. Simply erase it from your minds.
He makes his teammates better offensively and defensively and is as loyal/competitive/consistent as it gets. Thanks to him Utah is a perennial playoff team even when they have 6th most cap space.
Utah is after Harris since two years. Hopefully they can make it happen this offseason. He seems happy there but PHI might offer him less than the market because of salary cap considerations. They have 3 stars beside him.
Utah needs to sign Furkan Korkmaz from the same team. He's a 21 years old...
PHI doesn't look good. Not sure if they'll win the series.
If they get eliminated they probably keep Butler and let Tobias Harris walk... And Utah snaps Tobi, shows the world how to use him correctly.
You can tell DM is rooting for this dude.
Could Donovan Mitchell - Grayson Allen be Utah's future backcourt duo? Q needs to find out next season increasing Allen's PT.

I think DM has improved a ton this season defensively and CP3 is older and injury prone. However Harden took it to another level, is better than ever.
One key thing is Utah...
I'm cautiously optimistic. Dude can certainly play and is athletic as hell. He tends to make good decisions on the court too despite what his raw stats suggest.
It's a matter of buying into the system and leaving Duke days behind. Allen hasn't become a Utah Jazz player yet, his mind has been...
UTA will face POR in R1 and if they advance the winner of GSW vs SEED8 in R2.
GSW will take #1 because DEN has a brutal schedule. HOU may have a chance to take #2 too, which doesn't concern UTA because they will be either 4 or 5.
