    Following Potential 2025 Draftees

Yes, and I suppose he didn’t want to risk it and took the guaranteed money. His NBA dream might be over now, though.

That Yaxel Lendeborg decision is a bit of a head-scratcher. I thought there would be NBA teams interested in snagging him with a 20-30 pick. Yes, he's 22, but the dude is physical with tons of talent.

Jackpotting Around Podcast: Episode 37 - Keandre Ashley of Hoop Intellect

Great idea to have Keandre on your podcast. I agree with everything he said about VJ and would pick him over Tre and Ace as well. His answer to the question about which players after #20 could become All-Stars was interesting.

Do you think our FO has Ace, Tre and VJ ranked 3-5?

Right, but if you want to evaluate mock drafts, you have to wait several years. And when you do, you often see they weren't too good (except for the obvious cases at the top)..

Yes, I was pretty high on him. Considered him for our #21 pick.

It looks like most of this board has had VJ, Tre, and Ace in the #3-5 spots for a while now. We even have a thread here asking which one we want. Idk, I’ve looked at this thing over and over, and compared to these three, Kasparas comes out on top whenever I try to predict what these prospects...

Yes we do. Was just saying would be great to have one more between 11 and 30 in this deep draft.

I agree. This draft is pretty deep. Would be great if we had one more first-round pick. There may be a future star lurking somewhere between picks #11-20, or even #21-30.

What do you think of Kasparas Jakucionis?

I’m glad to see this thread here. I’m with you. Of the players available at #3-5, I also believe that Kasparas has the best overall tools and physicality to become a great player.

Yeah, the 2026 draft looks pretty special and will impact some GMs' decisions about their team's plans for next season.

He is #3 on my board as well.

In general, I don’t pay much attention to draft prospects’ (and rookies’) turnovers because this usually becomes a non-issue for most players as they get older and more experienced (players who like to dribble into walls excluded). Waiting to hear your comments on Kasparas after your deep dive...

Tre Johnson Will Likely be The 5th Pick

I'd rather hold onto our #21 pick because with this year's prospects in the #3-5 range, it's tough to predict what they will be after 4-5 years. Not enough separation there for me.

    How bad/good is Cody Williams?

I wouldn't give up on this kid just yet. Let him work his tail off during the summer and then show what he's got next season.

I still like Demin and believe his 3-point shooting will turn around. The dude has a great basketball body, and his playmaking chops are already elite. Idk, some team may bet on this guy and win the bet down the road.

Agree. This season was all about our young players and tanking. Hardy wanted to focus on developing the young guys, didn’t draw up plays for Lauri nearly as much, urged him to “practice” during games (iso and quicker contested shots), etc. Things would've obviously been different if we’d played...
