Ingles is awful; Major black eye for DL

The only gripe I have about Ingles and perhaps someone might know how to get the answer, but what percentage of bounce passes from Ingles to Gobert leads to a turnover.. to me it feels like 70 or 80%? Edit: Actually I just remembered another gripe where he steps out of bounds when he begins to...

What are some options for filling the last roster spot?

Although for the most part the last spot isn't important, it can matter. If the person in the spot fits the team, they might be a good bench and locker room presence, or useful for team practices or have a great work ethic that is contagious... They might also be able to lighten up the mood...

    The Hooded Appreciation Thread

We got a lot of mileage out of Rodney especially when you take into account how much we were paying for him vs how many minutes he played.. He was almost always bottom 5 paid on the team but we had much higher output, consistency and pressure expectations. He was also around to help the team...

#32 Jazz at Thunder 6:00 Pm mTn

    Hmm...might as well play 4 on 5

Jazz at Bulls, 13 Dec 2017, starts in 30 mins!

At least 2 of those shot were 3 point bomb buzzer beater attempts..so really he was more like 1/5. However, DM was pretty much key to keeping us in the game. Other players missing wide open 3 pointers and the large numbers of sloppy turnovers probably added up to being the major factor.

    Rubio needs more core strength

He needs core strength in his buttocks to work out that bench. Most times when he plays 30 or more minutes, we lose.

    Rubio..

Does anyone else notice that when Rubio is wide open for a shot, he is super hesitant to take it..but then randomly decides to throw it up when there is someone close enough to block him ?

    Rubio..

I think this is highly questionable...There have been so many times when he ends up behind the defender after getting beaten. This includes when he is beaten individually and also on pick and rolls.. Even worse in those pick and roll situations, our big ends up having to try to cover both...

Donovan Mitchell and the great draft day robbery.

In 2013, Nuggets traded the 27th draft pick (Rudy Gobert) for Utah's 46th draft pick (Erick Green) and some cash.

How long until Mitchell is a starter?

I'm not so sure that this is true.

Is Favors in the long-term plans at this point?

The truth is at least for now, Udoh and Jerebko can be placeholders if Favors leaves.. (also we still have JJ for this year). And then there is Bradley although he doesn't seem ready for backup minutes just yet. I can't see us affording Favors long term...as much as I'd like for him to stay.

    A little Boler appreciation

I think Boler and Harpring make for a good team. Sure, they have their flaws, but if you are willing to overlook those, then the way they play off of each other makes for some light entertainment .

    Interesting stat I found

It must have been based off stats tallied from the first 3-5 games at most..Because after that the only thing clutch about Rubio is probably labelled Louis Vuitton.

    George Hill Blows

So much anger.. he's gone so why bother with the bitterness. Focus on what we have instead of what we don't.

Quin Snyder Reclamation Projects - Ricky Rubio??

His whole shooting mechanic is ugly. It will take at least to the end of his contract to fix it..and that is if he is willing to put in the effort to work on it. But his shooting is probably central to his woes.. so if he does manage to fix it, he will then have to learn how to trust in it and...

Is Favors in the long-term plans at this point?

Because two of the three scenarios involves Rubio.. The real question to ask is which teams have a need a center and would be able to pay him 20m+ ? Perhaps Dallas or Phoenix ? All they would have to do is wait til free agency arrives.

Donovan on NBA Inside Stuff Saturday

"What if Rubio was here" , "If Rubio was playing, we don't see him running the point" ..obvously they didn't watch the Jazz game.. because if they did, they would know ..

Donovan on NBA Inside Stuff Saturday

DM got an Adidas shoe deal early on, so his impact was noticed during his summer stint. His performance has helped put some more light on the Jazz though.

    Alec Burks: Redemption

Burks said it himself..Having a kid changed him and helped him grow mentally and mature.

So can we officially say we got the best player in a good draft?

There are a few other decent rookies (Tatum was out of our reach though)..but DM was a perfect fit and just what we needed, when we needed it. We clearly got a great deal out of that trade and was pretty much a perfect fit for us.
