    Taylor Hendricks

he's so so so raw, the good news is you can 'unraw' with just a lot of play time, so it's fixable as long as the effort is there. i wasn't impressed much with what i saw when he played though, so i'm kind of 'meh'.

Is it just me, or do the Jazz have two second round picks?

Kidding, it looks like they do. Frankly, there isn't much room for them, but who knows, on a good draft players can drop. I imagine the team will trade them, but who knows? anybody interesting down there? That would outplay the current talent enough to waive someone?

Why the Jazz were so bad defensively?

our entire team is comprised of players drafted in the mid to late first or second, with incomplete games. if you have weaknesses, your best chance to make it in the league anyway is to focus entirely on offence and hope you get noticed by someone. i used to think that good defense is just...

    Best fit?

poll should be who do we draft if we are at 2, as has been stated, flagg is the obvious number one choice.

    Ryan sold RSL to LarryMillerGroup

Small self correction: Ryan had some ownership, but wasn't the primary owner, it was some major conglomerate whereas Ryan had a smaller stake in the team. This move makes RSL 'owned' (majority stake) by a local group. another side note, the big conglomerate is still part of the picture, which...

Keep, Trade, or cut? (Re-sign if you will)

how could we decide any of this when the team played the year in a way specifically designed to tank the season? who was really injured? who was really playing at their best? i heard rumors that players were told to try new play styles to 'expand their games' (meaning do new things which...

    Ryan sold RSL to LarryMillerGroup

might not be the right place for this, but it's happening right now. they are making it seem like a great thing, but it kind of feels like LMG is getting the cast-offs of a sport that ryan doesn't have time for anymore...

You can only pick one, who would you put 2nd Team All-Rookie? Collier vs Filipowski

Flip can’t defend a fence post, sure hope he improves that.

Utah Jazz fined 100,000 for violating league participation policy

I have mused that Lauri might be a little injured. the way he is banging in the post trying to be a primary scorer lately when playing, if he doesn't have the trunk muscles to handle that it might cause some back spasms that would kind of linger (remember AK's back?) and the jazz might be...

Utah Jazz fined 100,000 for violating league participation policy

it's not just us, it's every team we play's fans not getting to see a game that isn't rigged. i think it's funny how in boxing, it is considered awful to rig a game, but in the nba (which is still being bet on in vegas) it's just 'everyone is doing it'.

Utah Jazz fined 100,000 for violating league participation policy

if i were the league, i'd make sure that as many teams as possible leapfrog the jazz assuming that they were not taking themselves.

Saint Cy's Incredible Knowledge and Wisdom: Jazz Must Acquire Kyle Filipowski in the 2024 Draft

from what i've seen so far, flip has the ability to learn and adjust quickly, which is really what you need as an NBA player. if you are concerned about his t'rex-ness, just pretend that he's 6'10 not 7'. everything else can come from weightlifting and repetition.

    Jazz sign Jaden Springer

idunno, he doesn't completely suck, but with so many picks coming i can't see how there will be room in the future. (though i guess it was always planned to trade up with the picks, though it hasn't happened yet)

    Jazz sign Jaden Springer

an average player that they can use to give minutes to who won't guarantee wins like the high talent draft picks? as for why it is multi year, the tank supposedly is a multi year tank, isn't it? also the later years might be non guaranteed if the tank stops. they kind of did the same thing...
