The 3 assists (passing in general) was really nice to see. Ace averaged more games with 0 assists at Rutgers than he did with 3+ assists.

Cody's body looks much improved over last year, but still needs much more improvement. He didn't get very many minutes and very few touches last night, so I'm not going to take too much away. I think the big thing is that we just have much more promising prospects to develop at this point, so...

That's a good bet, and most likely what his role should/will be, but I'm not closing the door on him yet. He showed a lot of growth in maturity last night (and by all accounts this whole summer).

I lost a lot of respect for Vecenie when he spent the whole first part of the college season last year dismissing Tre Johnson and then he gets drafted and has a good summer league and was saying stuff like, "I've been telling people how good Tre Johnson is, look how right I was."

I'm feeling better this morning. I don't enjoy watching basketball where there are 5+ possessions in a row without a defensive stop. I think I was most disappointed in Hendricks who I keep hoping can be an answer to our defensive problems, but it's really unfair to expect too much of him right...

This is really good news on Hendricks starting over Anderson. It could mean that either Hendricks has played really well in camp or Hardy is committed to playing the young guys. It probably doesn't mean much, but is a good sign.
