I get that trolling the entire world could be entertaining when you are as rich and famous as Lebron, but he has to have learned from the Decision 1 right???
Overreaction to preseason time:
I watched the OKC C team put up 70 in the first half against the Charlotte A team. Here are some thoughts running through my head:
- How is OKC this far ahead of the league?
- Charlotte will definitely be steep competition for the tank race.
- Charlotte is...
One thing I might have missed from the pod was the fact that cap space can be used for more than just signing free agents. It feels like we saw that this off season with teams with cap space being able to make trades with teams desperate to shed salary.
Of course we should have plenty of cap...
FWIW, I'm really not on board with the idea that we shouldn't pay Kessler because we need to build our team around a 5 out center.
One of my non negotiables for a big is that they have to defend the paint. It's just too difficult to build a top of the league defense without a paint protecting...
>$30M I'm ok with the FO not signing, Kessler might be over valuing himself
$25-$30M - I personally would do that deal, but would want some team friendly frameworks to the deal like descending contract and/or team option. It's still understandable that the FO would hold off.
<$25M - Get the...
Fears came off the bench today. That's probably a good sign for hoping they have a better record for the Jazz.
I think Fears could be good long term, but I would expect him to be a huge negative to their team this year.
Fears - 22min, 7pts/3re/3ast/5to 3 for15 from the field
Daniels - 27min, 11pt/6reb/1ast/1stl 5 for 10 from the field
I like Dash, he looks more like an elite role player than a star, but I think he will be a good NBA player.
I know that the Pelicans have no reason to try and be bad, but if Zion or Murphy III are out for any lengthy period of time, they could have the worst record in the NBA.
Fears and Dash Daniels sharing a court right now.
- Dash looks like he's going to be a very versatile defender. He isn't involved in the offense at all.
- Fears can't make a shot and has made some bad decisions.
Boston and Indiana both own their picks this year and both would have great reason to tank. I think Boston is far more likely to be that despicable though.
If true, then hopefully the Jazz reengage before the deadline and get something done. Even if we have to go up to 30 with incentives I'm ok, but hopefully in that scenario you get a team option and descending salary.
OK, but do you honestly think the way the Jazz feel about Kessler has anything to do with who he played against in college or when he was drafted or who was drafted next to? Or are you just using this as a way to insert your Homey knowledge?
I very much love you as a poster, but I don't know...
