I’ve been slow on Duren, but holy **** he is good.

Jackpotting Around Podcast: Episode 49 - Walker Kessler Injury Fallout and Listener Mailbag

I think they’ve got to trade Suggs. It would be so soon to trade Bane, and Franz+Banchero are actually relatively cheap still. If I knew Suggs could stay healthy I’d be all for it.

Don’t like Kessler/Sabonis/Lauri. Could probably peak at 50 wins depending on who the guards are though. Kinda hate it tbh. Problems on both ends.

2025-2026 Tank Race Prediction Contest and Current Results Thread

Sample size is really small though. We could have easily lost last night and our clutch win% would be the same as the overall win%. I suppose you could say there are L's that could have also very easily been W's, but we've also had lots of tragic moments in the clutch. Idk, a lot of weird stuff...

    The Lauri Thread

I think all their opinions are valid if you're just on the outside looking in. Like I said in an earlier post, it never really made a ton of sense to mix Lauri with tanking. The human side of things are much easier to see from where we're sitting. If Lauri was struggling, I could see both Lauri...

2025-2026 Tank Race Prediction Contest and Current Results Thread

I don’t think we’ve been that amazing in clutch games. It’s kind of arbitrary to determine what’s a close game, but we’re 3-3 in games with clutch time which isn’t crazy for a 5-8 team. We’re right in line with our point differential expectation over the first 13 games. This is just a high 20’s...

    The Lauri Thread

Personally, I do not have a desire to win on a certain timeline. I do not wish to tank. I don’t wish to move more quickly. I just desire to make the smartest move based on the position we’re in. I don’t care about how long it’s been taking though I 100% acknowledge it’s a thing that matters to...

    The Lauri Thread

From the outside looking in, it never made much sense for Lauri to be on a tanking team. It's why the national media heads have consistently been talking about a Lauri trade as if it's the default plan. Great players in their prime do not mix with tanking, and the only reasonable outcomes are 1)...

    The Lauri Thread

It may be better for the franchise to reset and trade Lauri, but that simply isn't happening so I don't even want to entertain the discussion of trading him. It may be best to just look at the Favors pick as a sunk cost. A major mistake from the past that we're paying for now, but hey, we have...

Brice made several defensive plays in clutch....I wasn't hallucinating right?

Tank seems dead. Lauri is better than ever, and we actually have a deep team. We might be able to snipe a 7-8 position and keep the pick, but I don’t think we’re a top lotto team without some serious shenanigans.

Idk how you’re supposed to guard Collier. He just runs straight at the basket and you either get out of the way or the ref gives us two FTs lol.

The pace of this game was absolutely crazy. It wasn't actually that bad of a defensive game....relatively. 121.7 defensive rating when the other team shoots 50% isn't half bad for us.

In general I think team are going away from high PnR. They’re asking bigs to do more offensive hub type stuff or space out.

The Non-Jazz NBA Thread in the Jazz Section

Biggest reason is the massive spike in FTA….but yeah offenses are unstoppable now. So much talent and skill on the court at all times. And of course the league leans into more FT’s….because that’s what the people really want to see!

League average TS% is 58.3%…and it usually gets higher throughout the year. Crazy.
