They should do it just to see how everyone would react. The heads of ESPN anchors would explode to reveal bolts, springs, and other cartoony robotics. Kevin O'Connor would talk about how his staff didn't even contact Paul's and Howard's camps because they thought they would get laughed at. Jazz...
Is this not sleazy? I'm down with the end result, but Corbin would have a legitimate gripe if he was fired for missing the playoffs when he was given a roster with that intention.
I agree. I think part of the reason Hayward and George have done better than some of the guys in the top 8 was that they were the first two picked after a supposed dropoff, which allowed GMs to be a little more free to pick who they liked.
What's nice about this draft: nobody saying it's a two-man draft or a three-man draft. In 2011 we had the third pick in a two-man draft. The worst was 2010 when we had the ninth pick in an eight-man draft.
It's true that the top eight picks in 2010 were pretty set in stone, but there's more to...
Pretty much every mock has us taking Schroeder, which would be sweet, but it's starting to remind me of those years everyone was saying we'd take perfect fits Hibbert or Hansbrough, both of whom eventually moved up a few spots out of reach.
If we're gonna have a chance, teams are really going...
Of course they were tanking, but it was a decision that paid off. Then they started their lottery pick all year. Another decision that paid off.
I realize they could have lost the coin flip, and they easily could have crumbled again this year, but they didn't. It's gotta be a little satisfying...
Reality checked.
Seriously though, there are a lot of teams that Burks would look really good on. The Jazz aren't one of them. Or at least they weren't last season.
I love how we blasted the Warriors for starting five rookies their last game of the season. Locke led the charge. If they had...
I like how he catches the ball with one hand like it's a baseball. I've always kind of wanted to draft best PG available at 14 and best seven footer available at 21, but a Schroeder/Adetokunbo draft would be pretty cool, especially if we can get Tomic to come over in the next year or two.
The...
Is anyone else worried starting the entire C4? I'm sure they'd share the ball, but the shots would be spread a little thin.
I would start PG, Hayward, Marvin, Favors, Kanter, and then let Burks play sixth man. Marvin is passive enough to play stander in the corner with the first unit, which...
Givony saying Dennis Schroeder is standing out at the Hoops Summit. What's not to like about that guy? His defensive footwork is brilliant. I hope he has an awesome game on Saturday and declares.

I'm with you, man. There are like a dozen big centers in that range. I would love to run a workout with any ten of Zeller, Len, Gobert, Plumlee, Olynyk, Austin, McGary, Dieng, Adams, Withey, Jaiteh, and Nogueira.
Then film them playing five on five.
I feel bad that he never really caught on here. I wonder if any fanbase will embrace him as their star.
I'll cheer for him when he visits. Hope everyone else does to.
