    We still have one problem!

Is there a way to make his Rep Power -1 instead of 0? This comment deserves it.

    KOC is a *****

Why weren't you on this message board a few weeks/months ago making threads about KOC locking up Matthews? It's because you, along with everybody else, didn't see Portland making an outrageous offer to Wes. It's easy for you to come on and blame KOC for not doing something in hindsight.

    KOC is a *****

The Jazz were just letting the market dictate what he was worth. It wasn't disrespect. They were willing to match any reasonable offer for him, and he was a priority. 5 years 34 million is not reasonable though. I think it surprised the Jazz that this happened. In hindsight, they probably...

Another brilliant move by KOC, guess who the next signing will be

Pretty sure we've spent enough money, we're heavy into the Luxury tax now. I don't see us spending more money on Brown and Amundson. I'm happy with the moves we've made. I don't expect any more.

Al Jefferson to Utah? ...Mark Stein's Twitter reports

I'm happy with Jefferson. Just because I am questioning defense doesn't mean I don't like the trade overall. In a perfect world, he'd be a great defender. But it's not. This is a great move, though. Better than Lee for sure. Not sure about Bosh, though, even though I think Bosh is...

Al Jefferson to Utah? ...Mark Stein's Twitter reports

Same reason the Hawks picked Marvin Williams over Deron Williams and Chris Paul, and the Pistons picked Darko over Carmelo, Bosh, and Wade. Drafting is tough.

Al Jefferson to Utah? ...Mark Stein's Twitter reports

Oh boy, this last sentence scares me from ESPN's current article on this matter. "Wolves management, sources said, have made the decision to break up the Jefferson-Love tandem largely because of their defensive struggles and lack of athleticism when paired together." Are we trading one low...

My bad. That's what I get for skimming posts. Now I look like quite the fool.

Al Jefferson to Utah? ...Mark Stein's Twitter reports

According to Ross Siler, the Jazz always doubled teamed Jefferson when the Jazz played Minnesota, because Sloan respected Jefferson's game. So, in answer to your question, Jefferson will replace Booz as the guy drawing double teams. Probably one reason the trade was made.

List of 2011 Free Agent Class

Agree with this. Nobody wants to come to SLC. That's what makes KOC's job so dang hard.

I Agree with Locke- Get Al Harrington

According to Locke, Al Harrington "Sounds like a guy who could match what Utah is looking for. I must admit I am intrigued by a line-up of Deron, CJ, Harrington, Millsap and Memo with Hayward and Kirilenko coming off the bench. You would be long at every position but power forward and...

List of 2011 Free Agent Class

Who from this list tickles your fancy for next year? So much money is being spent this year (brought up in another post), that I could easily see the Jazz waiting around this year, getting AK's contract off the books, and doing something next summer. Or they could just sit around like they are...

Fisher meeting with Heat- hate to bring this up again

Fisher is meeting with the Heat? I thought he moved to LA for his daughter? She's still getting treatment, so I guess that excuse was total B.S. since he is willing to go to Miami. Hate to bring this up again, but this just shows that he used her as an excuse to go to L.A. If he really was...

JAZZ vs. Bobcats - Orlando Pro Summer League - 1pm et 7/5/10

I agree. This guy has a good shot of making the team.

    Ronnie Brewer

Of course the Jazz would rather have RB. Of course I would rather have RB. But money is an issue, whether crazy fans like to admit it or not.

    Ronnie Brewer

RB, of course. But NBA GM's have to worry about this thing called money. Can't just go around signing everybody.
