We're bringing Brian Cook to camp?

https://www.nba.com/magic/cohen_unsolvedmystery_110811.html I had no idea either. Apparently, his death is an unsolved mystery. Pretty spooky, really.

    Scott Machado signed?

I remember seeing the videos on this guy and thought he looked like a good player. It almost seems to me like he just needs the right opportunity to shine. I wonder if there's another reason people keep passing on him? It seems certain players have all the tools but maybe have other issues...

I was in Europe for almost two months

Well, he's not the only famous figure in our family, put it that way. We're a pretty fearless bunch, I must say. However, we're also very friendly, yet tough and take care of our own. What's funny is that when I was visiting in the Bay Area, a random lady asked me if I was Scottish? Haha...

    Ian Clark

That's exactly what I noticed. It would all depend on who he is playing with. If his teammates are intelligent, and move the ball, then whatever team that is will do lots of damage in a short amount of time. I'll have to see who we end up with and I'll let you know his best lineup fit. I...

    Ian Clark

Actually, yeah, that is a great comparison. Although, I think Wes is stronger and more explosive. Yet, Clark is really good at those spin moves. He actually reminds me of Gary Payton in that way. Perhaps he should watch a lot of tape on him? That'd be a nice player to have. Although, I'd...

Well, if you've ever seen the movie Braveheart, then you'd know about the Battle of Stirling. ;) My uncle seems to believe that we're related to actual William Wallace the movie is based on. Freedoooooom!! Go Jazz!

    Jazz Interested in Alexis Ajinca?

Jeremy Evans is actually a good player. What he lacks is consistent intensity. We've all seen the highlights of when he attacks on offense and/or defense. He can make a big impact very quickly. Also, it's hard to pigeonhole him into a traditional position. I think it'd be smarter to play...

Jazz working out Dallas Lauderdale (7.6" wingspan)

Based on this video, he has superior positional defense along with great timing. Usually quick timing on blocks also translates well towards being a good alley-oop finisher; the video shows this as well. Positional defense and knowing when to block and not jump is key to being a great defender...

Rudy Gobert When He Was A Baby

Happy Gobert Day! I mean, Happy Birthday! :) Maybe Rudy will give you that shirt as a gift? It probably would fit an adult. ;)

Haha, if you look closely, you can see a full-grown man leaning against the tree. ;)

    $#%^ You, Jared Sullinger

If you want great breakfast, try the Black Bear Diner in Sandy. I just ate there the other day and it was awesome! I love their sweet cream pancakes! Yummmm! :) I used to live in Las Vegas. The buffets are usually lower quality no matter where you go. I've always preferred the actual...

    $#%^ You, Jared Sullinger

That's a great point. He's still way young and just trying to figure things out. Give him a couple years to actually experience the Jazz culture and living here and he'll be hooked. I've actually noticed that it's the exception, not the rule that they leave. It actually seems the opposite...

    Ian Clark

Thank you. I appreciate. It's a bit of everything I've noticed lately. Still, this season, while it will be good, next year is the one to watch for. This is like the prequel and next year is the first movie in the trilogy. :)

    Ian Clark

Clark reminds me of all those guys who just find ways to get playing time. He plays much bigger than his measurements tell you. When you have craftiness, you're either a veteran or a very skilled player or both. Also, certain players I just get good vibes from, basketball-wise and...

    Ian Clark

I didn't know that. I don't follow the college game much anymore. I try to limit my time in one area so I can stay interesting and interested in lots of things. :)

What would be cool is if he starts bonding with the bigs ASAP. I think Favors is our best pick-n-roll partner for him. Favors just needs to set a much harder screen. I really hope Malone teaches him this, above all else, at this point. Once he has that down, THEN focus on all the awesome...

    Thaddeus Young

It seems to me like the Jazz aren't ready to buy young talent yet. I think they're waiting for after next year's draft to see what direction to go. If they don't get the player they want then I expect them to be very aggressive on the trade market next Summer.

    Thaddeus Young

I doubt he'd leave Houston when he was the main player recruiting Dwight to come to Houston. The only way that would happen is if Dwight causes major problems and the team decides to stick with Howard anyway.

    Ian Clark

Burke will be fine, but he's all cliches and t-shirts at this point. He's more worried about creating his brand then actually focusing on getting better. :) lol Seriously, my type of player are guys with heart and intelligence. There's a reason why Stockton was my favorite. I liked Malone...

    Ian Clark

Look again when he does shoot it. He rarely shoots it contested. He always seems to find a way to break lose from his defender. The great thing I've noticed about him, is that he doesn't fall in love with a particular shot. He's very creative and shoots it no matter the spot on the floor...
