Tyler Herro is taking a rest today. It's not a back to back or tanking. Some say it's a trade, but realistically it's because rest is good and player health is a critical issue for all teams!
There's some smoke about Ja to MIA, but I won't believe Riley is ready to deal until he does. He's spent the last 5 years faking that he is close to trading for a star.
Yeah I can't see why Lauri should be on pace to play his most games ever and most MPG ever in this year of all years. Those 15+ minute stretches to end the game actually make me cringe from a tank and Lauri wellness perspective. I know Hardy coaches to win, but the FO has got to give him a rule...
I think the Nuggets keep Cam but they end up deciding between Watson and Braun. Braun has been injured, so maybe he deserves grace, but he's been really bad this year and I'm not sure they'd find a taker for him.
Max contract is crazy lol. DEN is already at the second apron before re-signing him. Just speculating, but I don’t think they pay the massive tax bill for him.
DAL is going to trade AD to ATL for Porzingis and Risacher. Porzingis will be sent home to recover from his illness and Risacher will be sent back to France in an attempt to find his basketball skill and return next season. The NBA community will applaud the DAL for a great piece of business and...
Sure, but playing this season also goes a long way in terms of a team giving him that extension. DAL is not giving it to him, that’s for sure. So his best shot is another team and any team considering it would find it more appealing if they can have him for this year’s playoffs as well.
You also get the maximum bad PR. We’ve only really tanked hard one season, which is much less than the majority of “homegrown” teams, but we receive the PR as if we had been tanking hard this whole time.
Then you add on the human element to this as well. Does it really feel any better that we...
Anthony Davis to be re-evaluated in 6 weeks. Just me speculating, but I think he wants to get traded and come back in time for playoffs.
It makes sense to me, how many playoff runs does he have left in his career? He’s not really in a position to punt away seasons.
Utah state has been balling out this year and Mason Falslev has some interesting numbers. We draft him in the second round, he transfers to BYU for his senior season, then we sign him a year later?
