#1 Pick to Utah?

Kanter is a 4. He is not a center. You need a rim protector. Kanter can maybe play 10 minutes at the center position to fill the gap. But overall you need a rim protector in some way.

If hes awful at Center and Rudy cant handle extra minutes, trade him at the deadline, Tomic could be a nice option if Favors is traded.

You do the deal. #1 pick in this draft is a chance to strike gold. If a future unprotected 1st is the price, you pay it.

I'd give them all of #5, #23, GSW pick, Burks if they'd substitute Kanter for Favors.

A core of:

-Burke
-Hayward
-Wiggins
-Favors
-Gobert

And a **** ton of cap room is a beautiful thing.

Bring Tomic in to be a starter. Need his offense and passing ability. Not sure what his jumpshot range is, but it is better than Gobert's.

Still don't see why Cavs trade away #1.
They don't have a franchise player.
If they do this trade they still don't have a franchise player.
It's nonsense for them to think they will lure LeBron back.

If they still think Embiid could get healthy, and he falls to #5, then it's not hard to see why they would do this.

If all we have to do to get it done is include a future 1st instead of #23 and the Jazz don't do it.....ima ****ing kill them.

I'd have to agree, but if that unprotected pick is once again in the top 5 it's kinda tough to swallow us giving up a #5 pick, a #3 pick (Favors), and another top 5 pick for a #1 pick that I'm not completely sold on (whether it be Parker or Wiggins).....

That said I'd still pull the trigger.

Im not trading away a future 1st round pick unless its protected, top 5 minimum.

Let the Jazz miss out on Ivan Rabb over a few spots in this draft... You will find out the hard way why its not worth it.

There's too much room for error(Injuries) for me considering the youth of the roster, and Ive had Wiggins unmoved from the #1 spot in this class for a long time.

Favors, #5, Next years or 2016's first round pick unprotected, for Wiggins and Jack is a trade I would not do.

Ilyasova is rumored to be available, I remember reading recently. Channing Frye as well but I think he'd obviously take less to go to GS.

I would be scared to give away an unprotected pick next year, but 2016 and on I'd do it. Hell I'd probably concede even if they demanded next year's 1st unprotected.

It's not a stretch to see next years first yield a better big than Favors, so that's a non-starter.

The 2015 and 2016 drafts arent expected to be as strong as this years, However 2016 could really strengthen on some reclassification's

My point is these classes are still decently top heavy If the Jazz were to not do that well, or have key injuries, this trade could backfire in an ugly way. ( bad season, no draft pick, then the risk of the pick being a Damien Lillard type-stud)

I'd honestly hope that by the time Thon is eligible (2016 draft I think) we'll be better than the bottom of the barrel of the league.

If I had to bet, hes going to reclassify, the kid has an unreal work ethic for someone his age apparently, and hes a 4.0 GPA student.

I could see it being in the 10-15 range. But I certainly see both Jabari and Wiggins (and Embiid, if healthy) being top 10-15 players in a few seasons.
