What's new

12/13 Golden State Warriors at Utah Jazz 7:00pm MST

Remember when we we had a worse record by this time last year, and played defense like total utter **** (bozzer lol)? Yeah, were statistically like a top #10 defensive team this year.

...exactly! Why are we worrying about rebounding....when our defense is twice as good as it was last year regardless of our rebounding ranking??? We are probably getting more steals, certainly more blocks....thus less the need for rebounding since steals and blocks never hit the rim!!!

Let me just re-iterate that I loathed the Hayward pick for those that somehow missed. But not even I thought he could be as bad as he has been. He has been worse than garbage. He has no shot and less than no confidence. If there's a clearer case of a player that needs to play a grip of games in the D-League, I'd be curious as to what it is. I have never seen a player so scared on the floor in my life. Holy crap.

But to everyone else, great game. I feel everyone came in and gave a real contribution. AJ looks to be slowly learning that the rim doesn't have to stay 3 feet away from him and if he can defend like he did last night, I care a lot less about the gimmes he misses. One of these days, he has to learn to put it all together, and that will be awesome if it ever happens. Evans was retardedly awesome. Who knew that the Jazz got the REAL Brendan Wright at #55 this year? Damn. His reach is god damn retarded. The rim looked to be close to a foot below his hands on a most of his points. Ridiculous. The kid has to stay relatively hidden or he'll get a Matthews-esque deal.

If Honz has you for Secret Santa this year, there's a very good chance you'll be getting a tampon.

Just for those of us who are slow, why don't you let us know once or twice per thread just so we don't forget.
Thanks in advance.

I'm sure it's been said here, but the play of the night was after Amundson elbowed Millsap in the face, then Big Al rejects that nasty **** to lead to an easy bucket. That's called "backing your guys up."

I recall the Jazz going to the free throw line after that, specifically Williams.

This is a picture of David Lee's arm an hour before last night's game.
