14-15 Season Grades

I'm not going to give each player a grade but I will give the Jazz a B+ and our coach an A. I don't think we'll make the playoffs next year but I do think we will improve on win total and be more competitive throughout the season.
So you're expecting the team to regress from the pace they were on since January?

This!
The season (barring significant injuries) will be a FAILURE if the Jazz miss the playoffs. I know the WC is tough. But Utah could/should leapfrog any number of teams. Portland, SA, Dallas and Memphis could all slide. New Orleans barely squeaked in. OKC should be back, but you never know how Durant is going to come back and if he and Westbrook clash, especially with a new coach.

Utah is making the playoffs. The only question is if they'll be playing for HC.

There are a lot of coulds and shoulds involved in your conjecture. Yes, all those teams could slide but that doesnt mean they will. I will stand by the team with a hopeful optimism.

Homecourt? Wow. If your post was not made in jest, I think you're setting yourself up for disappointment.

I don't understand this extreme fear of disappointment that so many people seem to have. It's as if they think their world will be shattered if something they hoped for does not end up occurring. Based on the available facts I think the Jazz should contend for homecourt advantage as well. If they don't accomplish that I'll just have to figure out a way to put my life back together after the fact.
