I'm excited for when marvin goes back to who he really is and starts shooting like crap while contributing nothing anywhere else on the court.

He is in the midst of a few games when he is "on" and corbin has always loved him...... soon he will suck again and everyone will go back to saying he sucks.

Now is the primetime to trade him if anyone wants him before he starts sucking again

I don't know if I trade him, you wouldn't get much. The team finally looks coherent on offense with him as a stretch 4. Watching 60+ more games of teams packing the paint against the Jazz would be brutal.

I blame the defensive hole known as Jefferson.

Brutal or not, this year is all about the next five years. If they can get ANYTHING of value for Marv, Jefferson or Biedrins, they need to pull the trigger. There's no way that Marvin should be taking significant minutes away from Kanter this year. It's time to see what the young guys can do. If that means they struggle, all the more reason to find out now.

I would trade him in a blink of an eye to grab a draft pick next year.

I like him just fine and think that he's a decent backup/bench guy. But if you get a chance to secure a young asset in this draft you take it. Even if it's not a lottery pick. There's going to be some pretty good players picked up later this year (plus it gives you more shots at draft and stash players that might work out down the road.)

I'm hoping that they can move any (or all) of Marvin, Jefferson, Rush and Biedrins. Lock up as many assets as possible for guys who don't factor into your long-term plans and add some players who just might.

Maybe you missed the part about us tanking? If trading Marvin makes the team worse on top of whatever assets we get, then awesome.

Wait, you don't want the Jazz to trade Marvin because he makes the Jazz better and you're posting in the tank thread? The Jazz are in prime position to get a franchise-changing player and you'd rather give that up because it's hard to watch bad basketball for the remaining 3/4 of one season?

Looks like the kings are gonna beat the warriors!
