We always get overly excited after a series of road losses. I hate to be Debbie Downer, but Utah has some EASY games left, too. And the Jazz, despite their bad losses on the road, have also won against some very good teams at the ESA. Jazz should be favorites to win AT HOME against Orlando, Detroit, LAL and probably New York and New Orleans. Also wouldn't count out a win coming against Portland or Memphis or even Dallas at home. Less likely, but not implausible is stealing a game on the road at New Orleans, Denver or Minnesota.
In short, yes...I'm thrilled with the Boston victory over Miami and the Sacramento victory over Washington. But don't count those superstars before they're hatched.
This will go down to the wire I think. I think it unlikely that the Cavs or Knicks leapfrog Utah. LA and Boston are realistic threats and the Kings have an outside shot. We could still end up anywhere from 4 to 7.
I said it before and I will again. The Jazz end up 5th and jump to the 2nd pick.
