What's new

14th Tank Platoon

Yep, that kings schedule is pretty tough and new york has talent enough to not be able to catch us

The Jazz need to take care of their own business. I look at that remaining schedule and see 1-10, at worst, 0-11 at best. Hopefully they don't have a slip-up along the way and beat New Orleans, New York, or Denver.

I agree. The Jazz now have their own destiny in their hands. It is on them. But I am still pulling for Boston, Sactown and the Lakers to give them some mistake room.

What a great night! I checked in on the Lakers game and they were up by 8. Then I had other things I had to do. I tuned back in and saw D'Antoni with a big smile on his face and LA up by almost 30! Bad loss by Portland, though. Now they're even in the loss column with GS. Looking like the Warrior pick will be #24.

I won't say Cleveland and New York are completely out of reach, but they're close. Jazz would have to go on a hot streak to win 5-6 more games: home games against NY, NO, LAL and Portland. Road games at Denver and Minnesota. Realistically, I see Utah winning 27 games at best.

The Warriors are only 2 games ahead of Dallas and Memphis and 2 1/2 ahead of Phoenix. They could still fall to 9th.

Remaining schedules for teams fighting for #4-#8 lottery seeding:
1. Sacramento has a very tough schedule. I'll be pulling for them to win against NY tonight.
2. Boston has two games against Philadelphia and hopefully they can pick up another game at home against Tor, Was or Cha.
3. Lakers also have a tough schedule. Hoping for a road win @MIl and perhaps a home victory over a struggling Portland team. Of course winning at Utah would be exactly what we need.
4. Detroit may just need one or two more wins to finish with a better record than Utah. Home games against Cleveland, Boston, Mil and a game @Phi should provide them with that win or two.

Utah 23-48

Home (6): Mem, NY, NO, Dal, Por, LAL
Away (5): @NO, @OKC, @GS, @Den, @Min
Boston 23-47
Home (5): Tor, Chi, Phi, Cha, Was
Away (7): @Tor, @Chi, @Was, @Det, @Atl, @Cle, @Phi
LA Lakers 24-46
Home (6): Pho, Por, Dal, Hou, GS, Mem
Away (6): @Mil, @Min, @Sac, @LAC, @Uta, @SA
Sacramento 25-45
Home (6): NY, LAL, Dal, OKC, Min, Por
Away (6): @OKC, @Dal, @NO, @GS, @Por, @LAC
Detroit 26-44
Home (5): Cle, Mia, Mil, Bos, Tor
Away (7): @Phi, @Ind, @Bkn, @Atl, @Cle, @Chi, @OKC

Portland just might end up out of the playoffs at the rate they are going. They need Aldridge back, but even the few games he played since the allstar break they weren't the same team as the first half of the season.

We are battling Bos, Sac, LAL. No other teams matter at this point. We will finish between 4th and 7th.

Strange I'd have to say that.

Gonna be sooooooo close. Every Loss is insanely huge.
