Do you think the front office is as worried about the Celtics, Lakers, and Kings as we are? Would be devastating to beat the Lakers in the second to last game and drop four spots.
No, because I don't think there has ever been a "tank" command given to Corbin. If that really were the case, we'd be seeing heavy doses of Clark, Thomas and Rush. Beidrins might have even been resurrected from the dead.Do you think the front office is as worried about the Celtics, Lakers, and Kings as we are? It has to be weighing heavily on their minds, doesn't it? I spend an embarrassing amount of time every day stressing about the Jazz, and it's not even my job. Dennis Lindsay has to be fantasizing even harder about Wiggins and Parker than I am, right? (That's right. Simply put, with schedule analysis as I have done, the front office would likely conclude Boston, LA and Sacramento are in better tanking position than Utah. Jazz have the most "winnable" games at home (i.e. games against fellow tankers or the next tier up, which is teams like Charlotte and Atlanta). Utah should win 5 more home games (at least). I'd say #6-8 is much more likely than #4-5.

I'm just hoping we haven't seen the tank unveiled because of how tough this stretch of games has been. Maybe this Memphis game will be so grueling that Marvin and Jefferson each pull something, and Burke, Hayward, and Favors all find themselves in need of extended rest.
Really though, we all know the Jazz are going to hold their heads high, win the Lakers game, lose some coin flips, draft Gordon or Vonleh, and then have David Locke tell us all summer how the development gained by playing for a team with pride more than made up for any difference in talent sacrificed on draft night.

And Cleveland is now bacl amongst the tankers. Irving likely out for the rest of the season with a biceps injury. Could work to our advantage if Utah only wins 5 or less and Cleveland manages to win 3. Cavs have two games left with Detroit and one with Boston. Maybe they can win the home game vs. Det and away games @Orl and @Mil even without Kyrie. Boston picks up the two vs. Philly, the game at Cleveland and a couple of others. Going to be an interesting four weeks!
The way to win the tank race is to shut down Burke and Favors. We may not win again this year if that happens.
OMG STILL FOUR MORE WEEKS
