Or could do 1 for 1-10, 2 for 11-20, and 3 for 21-30. Guessing correctly on later picks is far tougher and should be awarded more points imo.

If you get the 27th pick right that's just blind luck. I see no reason to award more points for later picks.

If there is a tie at first we can do some sort of tiebreaker (like most players in your 30 who made the first round regardless of order).
