The ones I like are Brooks, Thompson, and Honeycutt, and maybe Hamilton for their defense, and three of those can really score as well.

I immediately dismissed anyone under 6-5, because I don't think we should go shorter than 6-5 for our SG.

Of the remaining SG options on my list, Lighty has the best A/TO ratio.
Burks and Brooks are tops in PPS, so are the most efficient as to scoring.
Honeycutt, Hamilton, and Brooks rebound the best.
Thompson is the best with assists, but is also the worst in TO's.

I was going to post a youtube video of Marshon Brooks 09-10 highlights because he is my favorite of the group, but look it up yourselves. I don't think the song lyrics would make it through the filter

I appreciate the effort you went to look up all the stats. I have heard negative opinion by a couple of college talking head that Brooks is a chucker. Burks is a good all around player but isn't a great athlete or long range shooter.

That is pretty interesting, and he seems like he will be pretty good.
I'm not sure I buy this isolation stat though. It's tough to compare when you have not seen all of the games. I have rarely seen Jimmer go 1 on 1 with anyone, if there is an isolation play it usually ends up being 1 on 2, or 1 on 3. Besides I don't think that stat is very relavent because I highly doubt either of those players will be required to be in isolation plays in the NBA.

If we can compare someone to Jimmer lets find other players that are consistently the main focus of the whole other teams's defensive efforts, while multiple defenders are switched to defend that player, and there are consistent double and triple teams on that player throughout the game any time there is a drive or a move... then we can compare.
Jimmer is still putting in the points, and is still fairly efficient even with a drop off after they started guarding him with 6-6 to 6-8 defenders, and the team is still playing well.

Sorry, I just don't think you can compare when the situations are different. Until another player in the country is defended the same way Jimmer is, I don't think there should be any comparisons without some sort of a curve. When is the last time a college player was defended like this? Did it happen to Redick, Morrison, anyone? I really don't know.

Don't get me wrong on my last post, I don't think comparing is easy, and I think Jenkins is great. He has a good A/TO ratio, and great shooting percentages and offensive efficiency. He also seems to be much better defensively than Jimmer, and we can definitely compare that. I don't think you can go wrong with either pick, but Jenkins will probably be able to defend more on the NBA level.

Durant can do what he does largely because he CAN shoot. Wade and Lebron have done what they've done despite not being revered shooters because they are powerful players. If the kid is neither a shooter nor powerful, that's significant.

I don't know, I'm just saying that the players you mentioned have some very special attributes, and Honeycutt - from what little I know - seems like he's AK 2.0. Loaded for good (versatile, long, athletic) and bad (soft, lackadaisical), but even at best is not a player you can build around.

Really not trying to be a smart *** here at all but what are you basing "elite athleticism" off of? Have you seen some measurable's out there on him? Also, who in the NBA do you consider elite athletes?

I've watched him 3 times this year and highschool highlights (every top 100 kid looks elite against average high schoolers) and while being very athletic I'd say he's in the median range of athlete currently in the NBA. To me elite is LeBron, Amare, Howard, Griffin and Rose.

That said I like him a lot.

Believe Perry Jones is a PF. He has not outside shot what soever. Looks like he even plays C as well. I think you are confusing him with Terrence Jones from KY.
