2011 draft.....

Put me down as another person who wants Knight over Kanter, I believe Knight is a lot more like Chauncey Billups than Jimmer is, but Billups is not my comparison for Knight. Knight seems like Jason Terry with Deron Williams ball-handling skills. Brandon Knight definitely has great size for a point guard size wise he measures up very similar to Deron Williams, height w/o shoes, height w/ shoes, weight, and wingspan except he is 20 lbs lighter:

Deron Williams 6' 1¾" 6' 2¾" 200 6' 6¼"

Brandon Knight 6' 1½" 6' 3¼" 180 6' 6¾"

Plus, the emergence of Callipari's point guards such as Derrick Rose, Tyreke Evans, and John Wall definitely helps Brandon Knight stock wise, I personally believe he might be on the level of those guys in a year or two.

I honestly think KOC is already set on Knight. I think he's going to spend the next 30 days deciding on which of the remaining guys he wants, and how he can use the 12th pick to get him/them. The wildcard is a big player trade. The dream for me would be taking Knight and Biyombo falling to 12. I don't think my dream will come true.

I have this feeling too. KOC has shown how much he values PG's in the past, so it makes sense. I think he will workout others out to see if anyone "wows" him.

Why would he bother to check out Kanter in a few days, then?

I think KOC has already decided on whomever falls to him, Williams or Kanter. I think Knight is a reach at 3 and I don't think has true point guard skills.

^ Might as well^. We are working out people Sunday who will almost 100% won't be drafted by us. It's just something you do because you can (and should). These players you workout might be available to you in a trade later on down the line, might be free agents later on in their career, or someone might really impress you enough to change your draft board.
