His answer: "The games are on 3 a.m, late night here in Belgrade. I am sleeping by midnight each night. It is the rules of my club. I will try to watch the NBA Finals games recorded the day after. I have my own playoff games going on so I need to sleep and be ready to play."

Yeah, the question asked was he excited about the playoffs. The interviewer obviously heard from a source that he models/thinks his game is like both players.

I think the problem that Dwill_PwnasaurasRex was referring to was the way the interviewer phrased the question, suggests that Jan doesn't have a firm grip on what type of player he is. Dwill_PwnasaurasRex correct me if I'm wrong.
