2011 draft.....

The deeper the draft is, the better chance we have of someone good falling to us. It also makes the picks we have more valuable in trades. So let's hope even more top euros and underclassmen declare.

I like Vesely just because he seems like a pretty exciting player. Wouldnt be upset if we took him with our 2nd pick.

Im tired of all the ******** regarding Jimmer. The kid scorred over 50 points in a college game. The point of basketball is to get the ball in your opponets basket. This kid can do it better then anyone Ive seen in a long time. He has a gift, defense in this case can be taught. If we can get this kid anywhere from 9-15 we dont think twice. He also would be a great fit in the community be that he's mormon. Dennis Scott couldnt: play d, rebound, pass, dribble, chew food, or talk on camera but he still had a career. Jive Jimmer a chance.

If they think he is the best available player for our second pick then take him. If not, go with the BPA. Would you rather they appeased some of the fans by taking Jimmer over the best available player with our second pick?

Would you take him or Kemba Walker first?

Hell yeah I would take him over Kemba Walker. Are you kidding me? Shooting translates. The basket is always 10' tall and the ball always weighs the same. Not to mention the kid didnt have to play defense in college, he won by scoring nearly as much as the other teams. 51 points in 40 total minutes is impressive.

Let the rude awakening of the NBA hit him in the face, so he can learn. When these coachs and the media get on him he will start to care about defense.

He could be a superstar or he could be a solid back up point gaurd with huge big shot abilitys. What do you expect out of your 8 -14th pick in a weak draft?

He didn't play defense because he isn't a good defender. I am not saying don't draft him. I am saying you take the BPA at your picks and go from there. He probably isn't the BPA at 12.

Defense is 50% of the game. If you can't stay in front of your man or ever grab a steal, you had better be both an elite shooter and playmaker like Steve Nash. We know Jimmer is an elite shooter, but does he even have half the passing ability of Nash? KOC will be the judge of that.
