Vesely runs the floor well, and has the tools to develop a reliable jumpshot. And, he is NBA-style athletic. That is all you can say about the guy. These attributes don't make him a #6 pick, IMO. But if he falls to #10, then somebody will have pretty good value on their pick.

So do many of the SFs in this draft. Dwill, Leonard, T Jones, are all NBA-style athletic. Especially Tjones and Dwill, who played against tough competition. If anything, Vesely is too tall and skinny for SF. Perhaps he should eat a good meal and try playing PF?

In fact, Tjones might be the most NBA ready out of all of them. 6'8" 244 lbs and a freakish wingspan as only a freshmen?! It helps that he played at UK too. His adjustment to NBA speed and physical play should be small compared to what some of these foreigners are going to go through. Given UK's recent products, Tjones is going to do just fine in the NBA.

If the Jazz use this draft to 'fix' their problems with shooting and wing depth, then they will miss the playoffs again next season. Outside of DWill2 I don't see a single wing player that will help us until the season is 50 or 60 games past. You've just watched Hayward adjust to life in the NBA, and you're ****ing kidding yourself if you think Jones would have an easier time. DWill2 isn't likely to help us much next year, either.

In other words, if the Jazz org want to be in the playoffs next year, then they need to execute a trade.

As far as your comments about Hayward, I think it's a bit unfair to judge him harshly. He didn't get consistent PT until the very end of the season when the new coach was compelled to play him due to injuries. We've seen the Jazz's treatment of rookies before. How Hayward was ever stuffed on the bench behind the likes of CJ and Raja is beyond me (and beyond most who have followed the Jazz. Why was Capt Crunch and Keith playing ahead of Duron?).

I'm just hoping that due to the amount of holes our roster currently has, a younger hopefully less stubborn coach, and with the CBA, the Jazz will finally start playing and developing their rookies from day 1.

Looking at T. Jones' stats makes him look pretty good. Offensively almost as good as Dwill2, defensively he's superior.

There's a lot of parity this year.

here comes your Fox-news spin. There is much more evidence out there to suggest that life at the wing is simply a difficult thing to acclimate oneself. Look at Durant's rookie season.

There is more evidence to suggest that Hayward got more time when he deserved it.

I'm still laughing at how you're backing off the seriousness of your post. I, too, can name at least 5 or 6 players that "will contribute positively" to the team next season. If we're not talking about the playoffs, then that is a freakin' easy thing to say.

I need to explain to you why it is stupid to say that because Biyombo is from Africa the Salt Lake-based Jazz have a better chance re-signing him than if he were from West Virginia (or other origin stories of the "DWill-type")?

And you don't think that the chances are that re-signing Bimbo may in fact prove easier for us than re-signing someone who came from a major American city? Some hopper? Obviously, each player is independent of the next, and there are foreigners who crave the spotlight of NY and LA as much if not more than any American kid. But if I had to guess, which player we'd have a better likelihood of re-signing down the line, it would be a foreigner. Maybe it's just me though.

No, I don't know where he's from in Congo. And yes, Madrid's as major a major city as any. But again, my question still remains. You don't think we'd have a better chance of re-signing a foreigner than we would a hopper?
