we should select the best player available, and that will be kanter or williams. even if we are loaded at this positions, we could trade some players. we need a wing and a point guard, so tradeable is harris and jefferson or millsap. we could get some solid value in return. we also should draft alec burks or fredette as the pick nr. 12 and sign some veterans for the minimum and we have our solid playoff-team. resign ak, cj and watson for cheap.

i'm still very high on kanter. he will be a dominant 20-10 player with a skillset that you won't see often in a big man. even if kanter goes as the first pick, he's still a steal and i believe that if he played this season, he would the a sure nr. 1 pick. he's the most underrated player, imo.

Yeah, I like Hayward as a 2 guard offensively, but there are some damn quick 2 guards in the league I think Hayward would struggle to man guard at times. Take BPA wing player, Hayward gives us flexibility so it would be stupid to have tunnel vision on a 2 or 3.

This post highlights why a player like Leonard or Singleton could be very useful to us. That is, if they can truly guard the 2 and 3 (and even some 1s). I hope we get to see a lot more of both of those players (for the #12 pick... which is where I hope Leonard returns to after the Chad Ford hype wears off).

I'm hoping for Derrick Williams, but I think he will get picked by The Wolves and traded elsewhere. I'm hoping (and I think they will) draft Brandon Knight with the 3rd, then go Marcus Morris/Leonard/Singleton/Burks. All of those 4 players I think would be good picks. Morris is the most polished, Burks is the athlete, Leonard is the strong defender, and Singleton is the most rounded (yet least potential).

If we do get Derrick Williams though, I will not be surprised if we take The Jimmer. We desperately need a backup PG to the fragile Harris.

Yet, I could even see us taking Knight and Jimmer. Look at the success the Mavs are having with a two PG front. Plus next year's draft is going to be loaded with highly ranked wing players. (I hope this doesnt happen though, but I will not deny Jimmermania does intrigue me as far as the spectacle of the whole thing)
