2012 Draft: Predraft Camps & Workouts

This Shurna guy seems interesting if he can be a 6'10'' SF with a high % shot at making the 3 ball.
I'm not sure what's going on at DX, but Shurna's agility is: 9.62
The best agility (assuming lower = better) is Jet Change at 10.30 (Shurna not listed) So, Shurna's best in class???

On the flip side, Shurna's sprint is 4.08, making him the worst in the class.

What the hell?!?!?!?!

EDIT: Nevermind, Shurna tested last year and his numbers aren't as impressive last year (lower end on sprint, upper end on agility). They must have done something different that year.

Shurna has some game but its not pretty. Has a funky shot that goes in. Really slow too. Id be surprised if he makes teh league. If you want a 2nd round white sf go with robbie hummel from purdue. He will be a 10 year pro in nba.,

Steve Luhm ‏@sluhm
Of the 12 players the Jazz have worked out, 6 are point guards, 4 are forwards, 2 are shooting guards. Another workout Saturday. Names TB

Have we worked out Crowder? I want to say yes but forget. At this point, if we don't get a 1st, that's who I want in the 2nd round. Marquette guys are coached as well as anyone in college and Crowder has what we need. He's a 3, plays tough as **** (Sir Charles compared him to Artest amongst others in this regard), is a very good defender, and can hit the 3. How well the latter will translate in the NBA is anyone's guess but he embodies the basics of what we need and would be a steal at #47. I think we should trade #47 and a future 2nd to move up to get him in fact.

Edit: While his ability to penetrate is mediocre, I think Burks and Hayward can fill that need.

Since you're not really hoping for starter at 47, may as well either a) get a solid, low risk, contributor, or b) total freak athlete with upside (only).
Crowder fits 'a.'

Hey PKM we are friends right?

I got a question for you. I need your pro opinion.

You probably already have covered this in your thread. I missed it though because I go there rarely, because I don't feel welcome :(

What's up with MKG's speech problem? I hear it's an impediment. Doesn't it just sound like he doesn't have anything to say? Or he is locking up because he is nervous on camera?

He has a speech impediment (stutter). He's overcome it, mostly, when in a comfortable position. When he gets nervous, it comes out .. and the cameras/reporters do that. He has made a lot of progress though .. and he should be able to be just fine in time, as he gets more comfortable with the cameras.

You are welcome 'there' .. at least from me. Just don't jab me and not expect to be jabbed back .. that's what I do.

haha. What are you talking about? I said that first. Dont jab me and I won't jab you. I really think you jabbed me first. Whatever though, who cares.

anyways.

So you are sure he isn't stupid. That's really what I want to know. Im not trying to be an ***. I really like him. I just want to know if I should knock him down on my rankings.

No, he's not stupid. Rank him wherever you will.

No, no, no ..

Backup at best.

No my sources at Nike say that Utah has already started the design plans for Bost's statue, right beside Stockton's. My Adidas shoe rep friend confirmed that information with me. I even had a Reebok dude hint that same my way. I will update later when I hear from Bob Knight, my good friend.

Do I sense hating ..? I think you see BR here and you think he'll join in your hatin' party, haha.

Problem is, BR and I are buddies now.

I have always said I like Dee Bost, Rodney Hood, and Moultrie .. but let's make sure Nike and Adidas know the following;

In 4 years of college, Dee;

- Only averaged 40% from the floor (overall FG%) once. That was his sophomore year (40.1%).
- He never had a year in which he hit at least 36% from three.

If he was worthy of being the PG of the future Jazz, he should change his name to Dee Best.
