In the middle of his prime he has developed a reliable jumpshot when left open. He shares an acronym with another hall of famer, but unlike that one, he actually like practice!
At 6'7" he can defend the positions 1 through 4 efficiently, making him a BEAST on switches.

I was really trying hard to find a youtube compilation of his defensive highlights. Pickpockets, blocks, interceptions. But somehow these 13 year old kids only get themselves a Sony Vegas piracy copy to string together dunks of players...

Didn't you hear, that is the only measure of a good player. If they can dunk, and dunk a lot, and make it look cool when they dunk, and if enough dunks are available on video for a 10 minute compilation then that player is the next Jordan/LBJ combined.

Iguodala definately can dunk, that could explain why there were highlight reels at all...

Great pick.
I believe that right now iggy is a better all around player than batum, pierce, hayward, george, and klay.
The steal of the draft so far and btp is in the lead so far imo
 
guye i-am waiting since 6 am and now it's 10.30 pm here i am going to sleep excuse me if the ones in front of me make their picks and i'm not. but i have to sleep. i woke up at. 2 am for check if it's my turn, if not, then...

I would take pierce over iggy a few years ago and I would take hayward, george, and klay over iggy in the near future.
Batum, hell no.

Iggy is still in his prime and has played on the olympic team (only best players in nba get that chance) and the world championship team, and the all star team.

I like those other players better than iggy actually but there has to be a reason for his accolades.

Lot of iggy haters in jazz fan land though so it might end up being a bad pick inthe end

We seem to have a similar taste in players! Other than George I agree. I would have picked George over Nowitzki btw...

You shouldn't be waiting. You should just make it a routine while drafting to check once in the morning if it's your turn or very close to it maybe once when it's 10 mountain time, that's when a lot others make a coffee break or something and select a player and whenever you feel like following it over the course of the day. And you should definately NOT set alarm clocks in the middle of the night. It's a game.

Klay plays no defense and inefficient offense. But in 2 or 3 years he might be better than Iguodala.
Pierce is old and regressed already last season. But he's still clutch, have to give him that. But I have already 2 guys to share close to 50 possessions between them.
Batum plays only every 2nd night. His 3 pointer is better, but his defense, drives and transition basketball are worse than Iggy's.
Hayward over Iggy vote at that point of their careers are homer votes imo. But he'll surpass him prolly in 1 or 2 years too.
