I assumed the reasoning was to add 'fun' by creating your starting line up based on each match up.

I totally know that this will be a popularity contest, thus I have no chance to win. But I have fun doing this fantasy draft setting and getting to know individual players better. So while I won't get voted I might very well sleep good at night knowing that my lineup would be the one that'd win a championship in real life over the others

I totally disagree with this. People will vote for which team they think is best, regardless the coach.. but what I do agree with is the 'popularity' of the player among the board.

I will vote strictly on which lineup I think is better

Agree on the 2nd(as experienced today), disagree on the first. Some still wouldn't vote for someone like kkk, even if he had Cp3,Kobe,LeBron,Duncan and Howard against Mo Williams, Randy Foye, Marvin Williams, Jeremy Evans and Al Jefferson.

Agreed with this actually. If we're picking 8, we should be using all 8... (use the other 3 as backups, etc)
