Even if fsu doesn't lose, the winner if that game could jump them
If the winner of that game DOESN'T jump FSU it is time to burn the whole system down. . .

Agreed. The same way one knows the 8 best teams. Maybe the ninth team is the best team.
You might as well quit trying. My god you are slow.
Every byu fan understands that byu would struggle if they were in the big 12.
I don't know why you can't understand that.
Ya I know. You might as well quit trying.
Ya I know.
I also found it funny when he complained a few days ago about byu fans being excited for an undefeated season (putting the cart before the horse... counting our chickens before they hatch).
Then he starts proclaiming kendall thompson to be the next dak prescott after about 2 quarters of football, and then talks about the utes great season this year after a 1-1 conference record.
And green proclaiming travis wilson to be the 2nd rated passer in the country and a nfl caliber qb who is better than taysom hill..... after 2 games (idaho state and fresno)
Nothing wrong with that btw imo...... fans are supposed to be excited about thier team and over-estimate how good thier players/team are.
But it's lame that jazzman acts like it's only byu fans who do
Either way there's always one winner. The best team can always be subjective anyway, regardless of the postseason format. An eight team playoff would be fun, but it starts to get into the too many games category, personally, especially for unpaid players expected to collide with each other at full speed.Agreed.
Quick question though..... do you think having 8 Teams is more likely to get the best team in the playoffs, or just 4 is more likely?
8 Teams would not be perfect and would not assure that the best team in the country gets in....... it would just be better than 4 team playoff, which is kinda why most of us would prefer it.

Shortening the regular season also shortens the body of work the committee has to judge and could create even more unbalanced schedules within the larger conferences. That's a good reason not to go to eight.
But thats really the only good reason.
Maybe have the regular season shortened by a game..... or shorten fall camp practice length or something
Yep, there is no perfect situation.Shortening the regular season also shortens the body of work the committee has to judge and could create even more unbalanced schedules within the larger conferences.

Also try to understand the fact that my interactions with BYU fans are not limited to just this board. Sure, there's you and a few other BYU fans on this board in touch with reality, but that doesn't mean your the only fans I converse with.

Too many games for the teams who win.
