2014 College Football

^Does this scenario help BYU get a Big 12 invite?

or do 2 teams bail to the Big Ten(new TV contract coming up is gunna be huge) and 4 bail to the pac 12(Pretty sure the pac can renegotiate their TV deal if they add enough value, Texas qualifies)?

BYU left out in the cold.

^^^^ The only people that would find that weird are computer athletes that have never played organized team sports.. It was a close, exciting, game that ended on a 4th and goal stop by BYU. That alone would be enough. Add to that, they aren't good against the pass, played one of the best passing offenses in the country, and didn't get whopped. BYU finished a season 8-4 where it looked like they would go 6-6 at best at one point. And they took all kinds of **** from fans, media in the process despite having multiple serious injuries to key players that probably should have given them a worthy excuse to totally stink it up. Plenty of reasons to be happy about closing the season on a good note.

LMAO find me video of another Head Coach celebrating that hard after a non championship or rivalry game win.

Bronco crowd surfing and fist pumping is legit one of the funniest things I have ever seen. Tbh, I dont think I've ever seen a Head Coach geek out like that, no matter how big the win.

Nope, byu should have been sulking and somber after that win

Obviously nobody is taking it to that extreme. I think this is just one of those things that BYU fan isn't going to think is very weird and most everybody else is.

Imagine the celebration if they manage to beat Utah in 2016. Provo > Fergusen.

I think it's weird to make a fuss about college kids celebrating a nice road win during a frustrating season.

I think a much stranger celebration was the raiders winning a meaningless game last week in Oakland.

As far as overcelebration goes, this ranks pretty low imo.
I have seen alot of teams fans rush the field after winning a game against an average opponent in a meaningless game (I think the utes even did this a few times in the mtn west seasons.... I didn't think that was a big deal either. I believe celebrating wins is a good thing to do no matter how happy a team or thier fans are about it)

How bad is Rob Daniel? I think he gave up every one of those TD passes.

Yeah, I don't what happened between this year and last. He seemed like an above average CB last year. He doesn't only get completely dusted ocassionaly, he makes bad plays while being in relatively good position too. He's more of a safety in reality. Skye Povey looked so much better playing safety this year as opposed to corner last year and I imagine Rob would be the same way. He'll actually probably get some NFL looks at that position. BYU needs to recruit the secondary better so they can have guys playing the positions they are suited for, instead of having 12 safties.

For the most part we'll agree to disagree. I've been critical of my fellow Ute fans for rushing the field against mediocre teams, etc. Maybe there is no "wrong" way to celebrate a win but if K-Whitt did a Triple Lindy into the arms of one of his grown-man assistants after Utah had the pick 6 to beat lowly Colorado, I'd be pretty embarrassed by it and think he was an ***-clown for such behavior.

Riley to Nebraska. Firing Pelini to hire Riley? Meh.

It would be bittersweet to see Bronco get the Beaver job. I'm guessing football would then be 5th at OSU but I want him to stay at BYU for a long, long time.
