What's new

2014 College Football

I know somebody will eventually do it, but I can't imagine why anybody would even consider Lane Kiffin.

There will probably be a point a decade or two down the road where he might be a good HC if aging/maturing helps with his personality defects. That seems to be about 3/4's the battle with him.

Fine, I'll say it. I thought the jump into the other coach was strange and maybe a bit disturbing, and I think the video of the celebration is over the top.

Not sure why the Cal win was that exciting, it was nice... but that nice?

There, I said it. Happy?

/agreeing with Ute fans about Bronco

Congrats on being a normal person.

Ute fans better brace themselves for the loss of Sitake. Head Coaching opportunities and the fact that Chris Hill made a lot of Whitt's assistants coach this season without contract extensions has all bit guaranteed his exit. If he doesn't land the Colorado State or UNLV job, I'd be willing to bet Sarkisian lures him to USC as DC.

From a scheme standpoint, I think Morgan Scalley can step right in. However, Sitake was a crucial piece of recruiting poly players. This could be a big loss for Utah.

Should be...

#1-3 Bama, Oregon, FSU in some order.

#4 Ohio St.

Big 12 needs to play a Conference Championship game like everyone else. It for sure can't be TCU. I don't see how TCU gets in over Baylor with Baylor beating them.

Ohio state is definitely in IMO.

Not only did the win the conference championship but they looked good doin it. 59-0

Nah, they really don't. What if TCU went undefeated and Baylor lost once in the regular season to them and then beat them in a conference championship? It'd be the same thing. It's only a big deal because they finished with the same amount of losses. It's up to the committee to decide what they'd like. That's their job.

It's also the difference between 11-1 and 12-1

It isn't the same thing anyway.
