Just for reference, about how long do we have per pick? I mean obviously ASAP is best, but at what point is it actually problematic.

I would say 12 hours before Fish makes the pick for you.... is that appropriate, Spy?

Yes.

My only hesitation of having it at 12 hours is that it can be difficult for those on the other side of the planet. But addictionary seemed on top of things last time, so we're gonna go with 12 hours.

Just try to keep track of when your picks are coming up and let someone else know who you want in advance if you know you won't be able to pick by the time your pick rolls around. Like I'll probably text my picks to fish if I have work that day.

One suggestion. If you're in another time zone, and think it will be a while before your pick, pm fish the two or three players you want in order, and he can make the pick for you when your turn up. Common sense stuff.

What are the thoughts on having teams pick a coach as well? This was discussed in the All-Time players draft, but is more relevant here. Teams and strategies vary greatly by the quality and type of coach running the show. I personally think that it should be 11 rounds - 10 players and a current NBA coaching staff, but that's just my opinion. Wanted to throw it out there before we get things rolling.

I will entertain trades for the 1st pick, but I'm looking to get a top-5 pick back. If no trades are made I will pick in the next 15-20 minutes.

1. 10 rounds with 9 players and a current coach (unemployed coaches too)
2. 10 rounds with 10 players

I made a similar post before the all time players draft started. But was shot down. I'm all for it.

I would suggest do the draft, then start a separate one round draft for a coach and re-randomize it again. Thoughts?
