Almost made the same mistake this week. Only reminder was seeing Atlanta trounce TB. Can't pick that game, obviously, but still allowed to pick one of the Sunday games. TBH, I'm losing interest in the NFL.
 
Seven of us still left and we're all moving on to next week. Nervous moments for 5 of us as we had New England. The other two picked New Orleans.
 
Yeah, another week where everyone sails through. To me this really starts to get interesting in Week 7 or so, barring any upsets that knock out half the group or whatever like last year.

Agree. It gets interesting once everyone has already burned up the better teams playing at home. I know one thing...I'm staying the hell away from SF!

Ok, I understand taking Pittsburgh at home against Tampa Bay. Sorry Darkwing.

As for TheAKountant (whoever that is), well I'm not sure taking Oakland is ever a good bet. Guess the controversy over the starting QB was factored in to the pick.

The rest of us all took San Diego. So 11 down and just 5 to go.
 
Yeah....I won't pick Oakland, the Jags, the Browns, the Bucs, or the Vikings at all. But especially the first two.

Lol, so right. I made it to last two along with prodigy the first time I played this when I didn't know jack about the NFL. The next time I was more knowledgeable but got eliminated at the half way. And now I biffed it at the first week although I know a whole lot more about it and actually follow it this year.
 
Barely survived this week, with New Orleans winning in OT. Down to 4 now (assuming Seattle wins over Washington).
 
kyjazzfan hanging in there right now as Cincy keeps fighting back. I have Denver over NYJ. Looked like an easy win for me after 3 quarters, but the Jets aren't going down easily. Nate and YB have AZ over Washington. That looks like a "gimme."

Hmmm...a tie. Wonder how that counts in the game.
I'm now a HUGE Washington "whatever their name is" fan. They're at least hanging tough through the 1st half with AZ. Upsets can always happen!
