2015-2016 NBA Thread

Actually you know what? If I were the Clippers I'd do Cousins & Blake straight swap. Rivers and Paul can keep Cousins in line. Cousins is a more complete player and he can take them all the way.

Kings rebuild with a younger player with a better attitude.

Win/Win
Good call

I could tell the Kings how to surround Cousins with pieces to win with, I could probably tell them how to make it happen in the unreasonable, instant gratification seeking time-frame they'd ask too..

I'd start with a firesale before the deadline, they could recoup plenty of value as sellers.. I'd certainly field offers for WCS.. They've gotta keep that draftpick in the bottom 10..

They were retarded for passing on Mudiay, DMC has them walking on eggshells over there though.. The whole operation reeks of amateurism, they might as well ask me for help, I'd need about 2 hours and I could present them with a thoroughly detailed concise plan, that covers 100 different scenarios, and lays out parameters for the coming years.

I'd do it for free. for fun.. :P

DeMarcus Cousins is phenomenal at the game of basketball, if he had the right pieces around him there would certainly be explosive results.

Celtics would take a chance on DMC and they have plenty of picks to offer back for him. Also you dont trade that much talent to a team in your own state. If he works out and gets Clippers anywhere further in the playoffs you wont live that down with your fans. Trade him East. Celts, Bucks, Atlanta, 76ers, Wizards, Magic are all teams that could put together a decent package for him and might be willing to make a move for him. Those all might not be a good fit but Kings dont need to worry about that.

Rajon Rondo, Omri Casspi and Seth Curry were the only three players to attend Kings shoot around this morning, according to a team source.

I don't think DeMarcus+DeAndre would work as a frontcourt in any way other than on a first name basis.

In a statement to ESPN, Kings GM Vlade Divac said: "George is our coach and we're collectively working through our issues."

The Kings scrapped plans to fire George Karl after lengthy meeting Tuesday in Philly between Karl and GM Vlade Divac, sources told ESPN

@WojVerticalNBA
Kings never decided to fire Karl, which is why...they didn't fire him. Ranadive leaned toward dismissal, but Divac talked him out of it.

Ol' Vlade. We laughed when he was hired, but we now realize he might be the only sane person there.
