It took 50 points from Harden for Houston to beat Philly at home lol

Whats up with Nerlens Noel? Is this dude really that much better than Alex Len, who's per 36#'s are steadily improving?

Certainly wouldn't take him over Rudy.

I know Noel's defensive and rebounding capabilities are top notch. 40% from the field on 11 attempts per is unacceptable for a big though, that's not conducive to winning basketball... I've seen some of his post up moves recently too, their still rudimentary at best.

He's been terrible this year. He isn't accumulating the defensive stats like he was before. Nothing seems to be going for him right now.

I'm sure the Jahlil Okafor addition had an impact too.

Ish Smith with 17/9/8 for NO last night in 30 mins.. Probably woulda been a better option than Neto..right? 11ppg and 8apg in 29mpg so far. 17 PER. They picked him up off the scrap heap after a good showing with the 76ers last year.

One of the quickest guards in the league.

I like Ish. I would definitely take him on our team. He's actually pretty good. I've never noticed til this year. He's either a late bloomer or never got much of a chance.

It's mostly Okafor IMO. They can't coexist and both play to their max potential.

I know some people think Okafor is out of line, but I don't care that he did that if it's true about people heckling him. If you can't be respectful and you think you can do say whatever you want to a celebrity, then you deserved to get knocked out. There are just so many hating disrespectful people in the world. They all need a swift *** kicking.

Supposedly somebody pointed a gun at his head. Crazy ****.

I watched the video and didn't see anything remotely like that.

Anyone else?
I think the stories are getting crossed. If you read the article the gun was pointed at him in an October altercation in Philly. Sounds like there were several witnesses to that, including a cop. In the Boston incident nobody is saying anything about a gun, and Okafor is actually handling the aftermath pretty well. He's admitting that he made a mistake, and he says he has learned from it. I'm pretty impressed by that part of it.

MEMPHIS – On the court, Jahlil Okafor had arguably the best start of any of Eastern Conference rookie.

However, his experiences off the court have been far from stellar.

Four sources independently comfirmed to the The Inquirer the 76ers center was pulled over on the Ben Franklin Bridge around three weeks ago for 108 miles-per-hour. Anything over 40MPH is considered reckless driving.

This news come days after it was revealed that Okafor had been involved with two altercations while leaving nightclubs.

The 6-foot-11, 265-pounder had a gun pointed at his head on Oct. 4 near Second and Walnuts street in Philadelphia. Then there was Thursday early morning’s fight outside of Storyville Nightclub in south Boston hours after Wednesday night’s loss to the Boston Celtics at TD Garden.
