What's new

**2015-2016 season= to win means adding depth

I also think you have to put internal improvement into account. Don't get me wrong, I would love to bring in a Middleton/Matthews/Carol type player. I just personally think that Favors will be a go to scorer next to Hayward. His post allstar break numbers are pretty damn impressive. I would not be surprised at all if he turns into a consistant 20/10 guy now that he is back at the PF position.

Yep, I think our starters are pretty much set for next season at least.

Exum/Hood/Hayward/Favors/Gobert is a great starting lineup I think. That leaves Burks to lead the bench squad as well, which I think could be his true calling. Just need to convince Tomic to come over to really round out the bench.

Exum/Burke
Hood/Burks
Hayward/Ingles
Favors/Booker
Gobert/Tomic

And that leaves us to draft BPA, which I can always love.

The more time that passes the more I want the Jazz to go after De'Mare Carroll. Hard.

Gobert/Tomic/
Favors/Booker
Carroll/Hood
Hayward/Burks
Exum/Burke

Then trade a bunch of assets (picks, Pliess & Neto, players like Cooley and Johnson) for a higher draft pick and go after Russell.

That team has:

Two very high energy/hustle guys in Carroll and Booker.
Shooting with Hayward, Hood and Carroll and to a lesser extent Exum and Burks
Slashing with Burks, Hayward and Burke
Rebounding with Gobert, Favors and Carroll
Very long line up with a 7'1, 6'11, 6'8, 6'8 and 6'6 starting lineup
Plus Carroll would fit great with the defense mindset.
Fits our price range
Only 28 so he coincides with the rise into the prime of Hayward, Burks and Favors.

Thoughts? Any better options for the Jazz

I love Carroll. Imagine the scrums with Booker and Carroll on court together in the second unit. And he still likes Utah.

The Warriors for sure have a good defense but the run and gun offense and jacking up outside shots doesn't work come playoff time. Teams beat you being tough and methodical in the playoffs.
I see the bigger teams down low winning the west.

You're confusing the warriors with other run & gun teams. They're at the top of the NBA offensively AND defensively, and seem to have every base covered.

If Bogut stays healthy i think the Warriors will crush the west
